Musk Suggests Trump Should Be Fired

Post by Gunnar »

By the criteria Musk is espousing, Trump should be one of the first to be fired!
When Elon Musk said that those government employees should be cut from the federal payroll who are not essential or who are doing their jobs poorly, surely he must have meant Donald Trump.

During his first cabinet meeting, Elon Musk on Wednesday suggested that Donald Trump should be one of the many government employees who should be let go.

At least that is the inevitable conclusion one must reach when breaking down what the DOGEster-in-chief said after being asked how many federal employees should be cut.

“We wish to keep everyone who is doing a job that is essential and doing that job well,” Musk said. “If the job is not essential, or if they are not doing the job well, they obviously should not be on the public payroll.”

Clearly that means Trump.

First of all, his job is no longer essential now that Musk is running the government, and having co-presidents is just not efficient.

More importantly, Trump is obviously not doing his job well.

He plays a lot of golf, visits sporting events on the government’s dime, uses his position to enrich himself, and funnels taxpayer money into his own pockets.

And, when Trump does work, he seems to just come up with insane ideas like making Canada a state, or he weakens the US by putting convicted criminals back on the streets and (possibly) the stage of the Kennedy Center.

For a moment, imagine this conversation between two supervisors at the General Services Administration (GSA), which oversees federal construction projects.

Supervisor A: Have you seen Don around?

Supervisor B: Donny? Oh no, he doesn’t come in much. I think he is at some NASCAR thing today.

Supervisor A: NASCAR? Didn’t you tell me he went to a football game last week?

Supervisor B: Yeah. That guy gets tickets for everything.

Supervisor A: How does he afford all that stuff?

Supervisor B: I think he owns some Airbnb down in Florida, and whenever someone from GSA needs to be down there, he books them at his highest rate. That adds up.

Supervisor A: He does what???

Supervisor B: Well, I hear it’s a nice enough place. Golden toilets and all.

Supervisor A: But I need to talk to him about the construction of the DOGE headquarters. President Musk wants it to be in the shape of an X.

Supervisor B: I’m afraid that’s not going to work this week. Donny told me he is heading down to Florida to stay at his place and get in a few rounds of golf.

Supervisor A: Wait, what?

Supervisor B: I think he has a meeting with the Saudis about some kind of development deal they want to do with his son-in-law. Sounds like some exciting stuff.

Supervisor A: What about those plans for GSA expansion that he is in charge of? How is that coming along?

Supervisor B: I overheard him talking about it, and I believe his plan is to attack the Department of Housing and Urban Development and make it part of GSA. He said something about springing some felons who are “loyal to him,” but that’s all I know.

You see where we are going with this: If Trump were any other government employee, he would be fired.

Therefore, if Musk is serious about trimming the fat in the federal government, Trump would be a great place to start. After all, his job is no longer essential, and he isn’t very good
And I expect that deep down inside, no one knows better than Musk just how incompetent a failure Trump is proving to be. Judging by his taking over the recent Cabinet meeting, it seems that Musk, himself, now considers himself the de facto President of the U.S.A., whether he openly claims that or not.
No precept or claim is more suspect or more likely to be false than one that can only be supported by invoking the claim of Divine authority for it--no matter who or what claims such authority.

I wonder how dumb someone has to be not to notice how dumb Trump is. If you can't tell who the moron is, it's you.

Thank you angry guy. I think you should direct your anger at the Democratic party. They chose candidates that couldn't beat Trump. Maybe it's them ...

Here is her post-election loss video. She looks drunk:

A far cry from Bill Clinton/Barak Obama, the last charismatic candidates on the democratic side and both won two terms. Maybe it's them?

You should learn the difference between anger and commentary.
I think you should direct your anger at the Democratic party.
Yes, I should be angry they aren't stupid/criminal/hypocritical enough for most Americans. That makes total sense.

Yes, perhaps they should have lied more about how they would instantly make things affordable.

I’m sure that there was a reason why Trump kept repeating that, right? ; )

Don't you realize that perhaps you are being bull shitted by your party, just like the Maga are? It's a game of billionaires against the rest of us. Hope and change turned out to be banker bailouts and more war. Clinton's third way was just a way to sucker democrats into following wall street.

Not sure who you are talking to, but now you’ve got two billionaires running around in DC, scamming folks with memecoin schemes, cozying up to foreign dictators who indiscriminately kill millions of their neighbors, and wiping out government agencies that protected the average Joe or otherwise pursued interests contrary to their own billion dollar bottom line.

Why are you still talking about Clinton?

I've been talking about it being the wealthy against everyone else for years. It's one of the few things you say that I agree with.

I don't have a party. I don't spend time listening to Democrat politicians. My commentary is focused on observation of this country.

Perhaps you're too focused on conspiracy theories to see what's happening clearly, or to take what's happening seriously.
