Re: Yes, we are still "at it"
I do. I work with a couple of nonprofits. One building bunk beds for kids that don't have a bed to sleep on. SHP-Sleep In Heavenly Peace. Check them out. Over 300 chapters now throughout the country. They can always use more volunteers. Two, working with Lifting Hands International. Moving out goods to countries and areas in distress. A large shipment recently went to California. They have very low overhead and use donations wisely.
Please help out these two organizations or any other worthy cause. Canpakes and other board members, you can make a significant difference in your own communities.
Thanks for asking the question!
If you go back a certain number of pages you will see the response I gave to rivendale in regards to priesthood blessings, etc. It might pay to go back and read what I actually said and the information given.
Your post was a perfect example of what I was talking about in which I said that unfortunately, many of the participants here don't fully realize that there are many moving parts and we think about the church, it's doctrines, it's people, etc.
Folks here tend to deal in sound bites and restricted bits of information rather than fleshing things out where it's possible.
Regards,
MG

You guys are not taking this trolling post in the spirit that it was intended!!! You should cease from criticizing the Church, Joseph Smith, Dr. Peterson, and the medicinal use of Snapple.

I'm surprised he finds the time given all the posting he does on here...
Premise 1. Eyewitness testimony is notoriously unreliable.
Premise 2. The best evidence for the Book of Mormon is eyewitness testimony.
Conclusion. Therefore, the best evidence for the Book of Mormon is notoriously unreliable.

Do make sure the next time you come by for a drive by shooting that you specify carefully in the opening post what the thread is supposed to be about so people like me don't run it into the ground using Facsimile No. 3 as a WEAPON to destroy your bloody church cult. The gloves are off, MG, no more Mr. nice guy. Don't test me.
Either the Book of Abraham is a true historical record of what occurred in ancient Egypt or, it's not.
The Book of Abraham is crap. The Mormon Holy Ghost is a joke. I rebuke that evil ghost! Depart from me thou evil spirit of Mormonism!
Depart!
Get behind me.
Amen and amen.

IHAQ and Marcus,
Please, for the love of God, don't answer questions that MG demands unless he answers the questions pertaining to Facsimile No. 3:
The Church of MG of Latter-day Saints has said nothing about the king's name or Anubis being mutilating at the cut-throat hands of Joseph Smith. Why? Because the cult leaders know the Book of Abraham is a hoax. So also does MG! I know this to be so!Shulem wrote: ↑Sun Mar 09, 2025 6:53 pmMG,
- You've said nothing (0%) about Anubis's nose being hacked out of the lead plate. Not a Goddamn thing!
- You've said nothing (0%) about a king's name being absent in the characters above his head.
We're having a party at MG's expense and it's been richly rewarding to expose his hidden intentions as he hides away his fear and secret intentions in taking swipes at this board.
The Book of Abraham is the silver bullet. The church has been torpedoed and is going down.
Jump ship!

Re: You guys are still at it! (why am I not surprised?)
Laugh it up, fuzzball.
The Church owes me for making the discovery of how Anubis's snout and headcloth was hacked out of the lead plate. I have shown how Smith altered the record and pissed all over the sacred funerary papyri and on the face of an Egyptian god (of color) in order to promote a racially profiled narrative that has nothing to do with the truth. You, MG, helped me discover it by your bitching and moaning and therefore are a supporting pillar in which thousands, if not millions, will eventually leave the cult.
Now, allow the Church to pay me the sum of $1,000,000.00 for my Book of Abraham contributions, and if they do, I pledge to send you a check for $100,000.00 dollars for your work in helping me promote these revelatory truths.
And, as a bonus, I pledge to send a check to the Backyard Professor in the amount of $100,000.00 if the Church pays me that (1) million in which I so deserve.
Deal?
Done!
