This isn't true. For instance, after Afghanistan fell to the Taliban, my wife and I helped sponsor a large, extended Afghan family. We helped with housing, aided with translation services, bought them household goods, had them over to our house, and ate our meals and celebrated holidays with them. I drove to another state to buy halal meat to give them. We helped them find jobs, get drivers licenses, obtain transportation, and get acclimated to American culture.
You seemingly have little knowledge about what goes on outside of your own bubble. Who do you think sponsors refugees? Government assistance doesn't go very far. Charities and individuals provide the bulk of support. Many of the folks who are providing this support are your so-called lefties.

Geez, dude. Calm down. Read once in a while. Like, really, look at the words. The grammar. Think about how the language is put together. Makes some actual sense out of those constructions, and then respond to what is there. Not your imagination.
