A.I. responses are nonsensical, especially when they are used without disclosing the leading question that was asked.

A 12 year old boy has the authority to pass the sacrament. No woman, regardless of age, can do the same.
A 16 years old boy has the authority to bless the sacrament. No woman, regardless of age, can do the same.
An over 18 male has the authority to ordain people, can bless a child, can bless a sick person, can serve on the Bishopric. No woman can.
Men can hold conferences without any woman being present. For women to hold conferences, a man has to be present.
If a Relief Society President wants to appoint someone to a position of her counsellor, a man has to do it for her.

The idea that a woman “exercises” priesthood power, is mealy mouthed sleight of hand. It’s dishonest “spin” designed to keep those uppety women quiet and to portray to the world the misleading notion that there’s equality in the Church. There ain’t. Anyone that tries to out forward that notion is either being deliberately dishonest, or they are gullible.

I don't think so. The facts/information speak for themselves. Whether or not you want to deal with those facts/information is another matter.

Your track record in this regard is abysmal.

That men and women have different/unique talents and abilities seems to be an idea that leaves a bad taste in the mouths of those that have come up through the last few decades of the culture wars.

Here's the thing.

Men can't have babies. We're not the same as women.

Women can do some things men can't.

Do you believe that? If so, then is it unreasonable that God has given men certain responsibilities?

This whole priesthood envy thing is not something that active and believing women spend much time thinking about. They're too busy having a positive influence in their families, their wards, and in the community at large.

And here you are. What are you accomplishing?

Marcus, I know you have a bunch of people in these parts that will support pretty much whatever you say, and if they don't, they will ignore it.

Understandable. Tribal, and all that.

But for an outsider looking in and observing the many times that you troll me around and ignore content to the extent that you cut and paste some random post from somewhere else in a thread as some kind of 'cover' or distraction, I would think they might ask themselves, "What's up with that?"

You do it quite often. And it's quite obvious why you do it.

I'm embarrassed for you. It also derails the flow of the conversation. That's called trolling.

Marcus is actually being laser sharp at keeping you on topic instead of meandering around chasing squirrels and will-o-wisps MG...... I have seen you do that innumerable times, so I get exactly why Marcus is doing this. It appears to me it is you who misses the point and reason. Hard to fathom unless you are deliberately ignoring and obfuscating, which really doesn't help your credibility at all. I'm just sayin...

A theme explored in the short story MG Three Point One enters into his Exaltation.

Will you read it here or there?

Will you read it in a house? Will you read it with a mouse?

Thanks very, very much, Philo, I appreciate your support. It's tough to keep a thread on track, but I'm giving it my best shot.

I appreciate your input. I will respectfully disagree.

Her track record is pretty dismal in my opinion. She is laser sharp...but not in the way you describe. I've already given my description of what she's doing. I'll stick with it.

I'm sure there will be others that agree with you. I just don't happen to be one of them.
