For one thing two judges and police officers stated he belonged to MS-13,, and we know his criminal history, and are even discussing it.
What criminal history Markk? The restraining order was civil. Decisions by immigration judges in deportation or removal proceedings are considered civil rather than criminal. So the allegations and determinations there were not "criminal", they seem like testimony, and questionable at that.
So what criminal history does this man have? A judge ruled a withholding of removal status, so he wasn't here "illegally" per se.
What criminal activity has this man been found guilty of so that he should be incarcerated in El Salvador? Where did that pesky 8th amendment go? We keep losing it in this discussion about that troublesome 5th....

With the same due process rights, and rights to not be subject to cruel and unusual punishment we afford everyone?
That we are even having discussions where y'all think denying 5th amendment due process, and skirting around the 8th amendment by offloading these people to a hellhole in another country.... frankly just boggles my mind.
While a domestic violence conviction could warrant deportation, my understanding is that the guy wasn't convicted and mere gang affiliation is not enough either, without actual bad acts that are considered criminal.

Where is the thumbs up emoji?
I think it's up your a$$, but I could be mistaken. Lol
Anyway, wish me luck. I'm at a bar in Las Vegas waiting on a beautiful cocktail waitress for drinks and dinner. Fingers crossed.
Myth is misused by the powerful to subjugate the masses all too often.
. . . and we're the tax paying suckers who are paying for this miscarriage of justice.
Umm, yeah. That's, uh, the way it's always been. Why are you so surprised all of a sudden?
Welcome to America, Jersey Girl.
Surprised? Because I just discovered it shortly before I posted about it. I don't claim to know everything about everything. I'm learning. Stop acting like an obnoxious know it all, Shades. It contributes exactly nothing to no one.
