So the evidence is piling up. This kid was radicalized. He was a Christian. A Republican. A lover of Nazism. A racist. A believer in conspiracy theories. An election denier. MAGA. A hater of black people. A homophobe. A lover of Trump. A member of Turning Point USA.
He was in a school where white kids outnumber Latino students by more than double and black students by more than five times. FSU is a very white school. He had no reason to feel anything but perfectly at home where so many of his peers are white Republicans. But this is a time when MAGA extremists are going on the offensive starting with the president himself. This is exactly where MAGA is headed. Terrorism by MAGA extremists, even though MAGA holds the reins of power.
You seem to be a typical white progressive who ignores crime in cities governed by Democrats, yet you express outrage over a mass shooting at a predominantly white school, seemingly to gain favor with your progressive peers. In the progressive city of Chicago in March 2025, on the 1st, two people were murdered. On the 7th, three more people were murdered. On the 8th, two people were murdered; on the 9th, two people were murdered; on the 11th, two people were murdered; on the 16th, two people were murdered; on the 17th, two people were murdered; on the 18th, two people were murdered; on the 21st, two people were murdered; on the 22nd, four people were murdered; on the 23rd, two people were murdered; on the 24th, two people were murdered; and on the 26th, two people were murdered. However, it seems that the violence in a progressive city like Chicago doesn't concern you, as your focus appears to be solely on narratives that cast conservatives or moderate Democrats like myself in a negative light to your progressive peers.
Holy crap! In an entire city of more than 2,600,000 folks, with thousands of firearms, Chicagoans only saw a bit over double the number of fatalities than the number of people shot by one crazy Christian Nationalist with his single weapon, in a single afternoon.
Thank goodness that Phoenix Ikner’s hatred apparently blinded him enough to keep his accuracy and subsequent kill count limited to only two of his 8 victims. These Crazy Christian Nationalists and their firearms really seem to be an increasingly worrisome problem.
Lol, I have to ask, do you believe you are more or less some sort of expert for determining the intelligence of folks on this board? How do you perceive how folks here view you in that regard? I am 1000% curious. Do you need to think of yourself as being more intelligent that others, for self esteem, for self grandeur, or other?
I am asking you this in that when confronted or questioned on your rants, you just retract and question the intelligence of those that dare question your opinions, as if you know what the hell you are talking about, while never defending your position with any substance?

I read Gadianton, Physics Guy, Symmachus (sorry he's gone), Marcus, Jersey Girl, honorentheos, and many, many others to test my ideas against those of people whose intelligence I assume surpasses my own.
I'll be honest, you are not consistently on that list, or even often on that list. Sometimes, you do give me something to think about. Not lately. If you paid the least bit of attention to how I actually interact with everyone, you wouldn't say such dumb crap about my posting habits. My guess is that you aren't bright enough to figure out when my posts have substance or lack it. You just call things you don't understand and/or don't agree with "lacking in substance."

That is exactly what drew me to this board a decade or so ago. And given that my IQ barely exceeds the number of digits on my fingers and toes, this is a very rich environment capable of educating me about something every day.

I have absolutely no idea what Markk's IQ is. It could definitely be greater than my own. But I am measuring political intelligence by a moral standard here, and Markk's posts consistently fail the test.

No precept or claim is more suspect or more likely to be false than one that can only be supported by invoking the claim of Divine authority for it--no matter who or what claims such authority.
