What's your truth? In a metaphysical sense?

Not much interested in the metaphysical.
I wonder how common that might be among the majority of participants on this board? And more importantly, what led to that disinterest?

About thirty-nine and a half minutes in and a bit thereafter an important question or two are asked.

I question whether Peter's brother ever seriously entertained these questions without a mocking tone of either indifference or haughty arrogance.

What are the important questions?
What do you think the answers to them should be?
In what way(s) are they relevant to the discussion?

These^ are the things you should be providing along with the link as far as the board rules are concerned. Will you provide them, or breach board rules yet again?

For reference (yet again)
Do not EVER "link-and-run." If you post a link to something, always explain what's at the other end of the link, why it's important, and what you hope other readers / viewers learn from it. RULE OF THUMB: If it's not worth your time to describe it, then it's not worth our time to click on it.
Premise 1. Eyewitness testimony is notoriously unreliable.
Premise 2. The best evidence for the Book of Mormon is eyewitness testimony.
Conclusion. Therefore, the best evidence for the Book of Mormon is notoriously unreliable.

“The gospel of Jesus Christ is beautifully simple and simply beautiful.” Apostle Matthew Cowley,

As a missionary, I wish I had access to this simple flowchart. It’s true, the beauty of the gospel really is found in its simplicity.

Brilliant!
No precept or claim is more suspect or more likely to be false than one that can only be supported by invoking the claim of Divine authority for it--no matter who or what claims such authority.

My experience with religion, which was the LDS church. For me, I would sum up how I felt right before I shook off its mental and life shackles as, "I give, you take. This life that I forsake. Been cheated of my youth. You turned this lie into truth."--lyrics not penned until a handful of years after I had shed Mormonism and had begun to enjoy life.

You can choose to ignore my link/recommendation. I'm not going to nitpick with you and answer questions coming out the wazoo if you are unwilling to answer question after question I point your way.

It's not a one way street. ;)

You are obligated by the board rules to provide insight and commentary to the links you post. Explaining why they are relevant and why they add to the discussion. You consistently fail to do so. Is it because you haven’t read/viewed your own link….again? Do you believe that the board rules don’t apply to you?

My link was directly connected with the quote from sockpuppet contained in my post. And I did give a teaser for why listen to the linked to video. You're making a mountain out of a molehill. How often to others post links and have very little to say in regards to the actual content of the linked to source? Maybe we will have to have policemen go after EVERYONE that doesn't give a full summary and/or thought presentation in reference to the actual content of the video or graphic. I've seen a recent graphic go up, oh yeah, at the beginning of this thread with very little substantive commentary on the graphic. The graphic spoke for itself. Linked to video presentations also speak for themselves. One can choose to look at the video or not.

Get a life. Find something to get involved with that has real meaning. Are you going to become the male version of the board nanny that Marcus has taken upon herself?

Personally, I think this is done with the goal of deflection from the substance of a particular topic or post so that questions being asked of a poster can be bypassed for the sake of a nitpick.

MG
