I think you're wasting your time here HOH.
Off to a good start.
Anything else is discounted as supporting Trump because he's litterally hitler
Literally? I confess I haven't seen that one.
and democracy is at stake
It seems weird that anyone needs to be reminded that he orchestrated a plan to ignore the results of an election. Literally. You may have seen something about it -- it was in all the papers for a while.

I just wish that, for once, the progressives could let you share without feeling the urge to take personal jabs
It might be valuable to tap the breaks here and not fly past this - chew on this a bit - take a few moments to allow the taste buds to do their thing.

Personal jabs can be a very useful tool in the toolbox. They are typically used with intent and for very specific purposes. Personal insults can provide the insulter with many things. Among these many things, they can prop up their own self-affirming pedestal. they can provide shelter; they can characterize individuals anyway they want and then they can tear down the very caricature that they themselves produced.

Personal insults, like the Cambrian Period, contain many layers and can be quite explosive.

Does this also apply to those of us who call folks with whom we disagree mentally deranged?

7. Conclusion: Persuasion Isn’t Solely About Optics—It’s About Trust and Policy

The idea that Democrats just need to “smile more” or use fear more artfully misunderstands the political landscape. What voters want is leadership that understands their struggles, proposes real solutions, and behaves with decency.

Trump’s appeal to a segment of the electorate is real—but his record is marred by incompetence, divisiveness, and corruption. The task for Democrats is not to mimic his tactics, but to restore trust through consistency, ethical leadership, and a clear policy agenda.

Rather than buying into mythologies about Trump as a populist savior or Democrats as fearmongering tyrants, political observers should commit to good-faith, fact-based analysis. The health of American democracy depends on it.

; )
Thanks, Canpakes! Your conclusions make infinitely more sense and are infinitely more coherent than anything HoH has ever posted. And unlike HoH's conclusions, they are based on incontrovertible, factual reality that he can't even attempt to deny without revealing himself to be either a liar, or fool or both.
So why did you lose this last election to a convicted felon and a group of uneducated white people who the leftwing elite grossly outspent in a losing effort ? Because you were too centrist and not progressive enough? Is that the only logical conclusion in your mind? Behold the logic and reasoning of the party of science! You right brained liberals couldn't make an objective scientific conclusion free of your own emotional biases if your lives depended on it. Thankfully this means that you'll continue to lose credibility as a result.
And when the Confederates saw Jackson standing fearless like a stonewall, the army of Northern Virginia took courage and drove the federal army off their land.

You guys believed in the nonsense Russiagate lies and have sh__ your pants everytime at the bogey man the Democrats have set up in order to avoid real populist change that the people want but the donor class fears.
Not that Russiagate has anything to do with the rest of your statement, but could you point out the ‘populist change’ we’ve experienced under Trump? It seems like ‘the donor class’ was gifted their own government agency, Trump and his buds are making a killing with forcing market gyrations, the Trump family is running memecoin scams for its donor friends, and Republicans in general are working hard to eliminate or reduce anything that isn’t part of the DoD budget.

Thanks in advance.

There was a post-COVID 19 anti-incumbent wave globally. Ruling parties were tossed out in many countries. It is not mysterious why it happened. Look into it.
"I have learned with what evils tyranny infects a state. For it frustrates all the virtues, robs freedom of its lofty mood, and opens a school of fawning and terror, inasmuch as it leaves matters not to the wisdom of the laws, but to the angry whim of those who are in authority.”

He has revolutionized energy. There is no New Green Deal. There’s no electric vehicle mandate. We’re not going to be funding more boondoggles of high-speed rail. We’re going to burn clean coal, restore the Appalachian coal fields, those in the West as well. We’re leasing out new oil fields. We’re trying to get liquid national gas shipped to Europe, that’s in dire need of it. We’re continuing fracking.
I didn’t realize that burning coal, the literal first, oldest large-scale and dirtiest choice from the basket of options available was ‘revolutionizing energy’, because, it’s not. Not only is it not, but the market has been moving towards natural gas for decades now for electrical power generation. Trump couldn’t save the coal industry the first time around (he promised that he would, but we know how well he keeps ‘promises’), and he’s not going to do it this time, either, even if you want to pretend that there’s anything more to this than an attempt to appeal to easily-led individuals.

By the way, there’s really no such thing as ‘clean coal’, the number of leases hasn’t been increased by the new Administration, you’re stilll paying over $3 a gallon for gas, and we are actually producing less oil and gas now than during the last few months of the Sleepy Joe Biden Administration. Weird, huh?

The thing that gets me about the modern-day conservative movement is how easily it will say anything, no matter how untruthful or stupid, to rally its Base. And then that Base won’t care a whit about repeating the same BS, even after shown the facts.

Kind of like how the author of that article overstated immigration under Biden. But at least you’re not telling people that 20 million illegals entered the country, like you were several months ago. That’s progress.

It’s the most corrupt US administration in history.

There was also a dramatic, worldwide uptick in the inflation rate, with the US faring better than just about any other first-world country, but conservatives can’t get themselves off of the Biden Blame Train because - as ajax says - conservatives ‘couldn't make an objective scientific or economic conclusion free of their own emotional biases if their lives depended on it.
