You've posted twice and you are still ignoring Dr.Cam's rule violation. Once again, proving you can't control your emotions long enough to do your moderator duties properly.
Have you used the report feature to report the post? Using the report feature alerts Shades and the mods to posts needing attention, as well as their whereabouts.

I'm surprised Hound hadn't read through this thread, given how interested he is in moderation policies. For example:

... [H]aving a set of rules presents a separate questions: how and when to enforce them. In my opinion, the overarching purpose of the rules is to create an environment that permits users as much lattitude as possible to express themselves, with the major source of limits being the prevention using this freedom to restrict other users' freedom of expression. Whatever standards we employ for enforcing the rules should be consistent with that purpose.

One of those standards that Shades has long urged the moderators to follow is to generally moderate in response to reports. After all, if something isn't bothering anybody enough to click the report button, why should the mod team waste it's time addressing posts that technically violate the rules but that aren't interfering with other's ability to express themselves.

Of course, there are rules to which this general approach should not apply: if we see someone doxx another user, we won't wait for a report. There are some rule violations that are, in my opinion intrinsically harmful. So, for example, I'm unlikely to split a thread for a derail absent a report. If what's occurring isn't bothering the people participating in the thread, then there is no reason to interfere with the flow of the thread. On the other hand, missing the quote feature or quotation marks to misrepresent what another user said, is inherently misleading for anyone who reads the thread, and I would moderate that without a report...

What are the benefits of utilizing the report feature? I will report the violation directly to you without involving Shades. I find it advantageous to bring this to your attention directly, as I recognize that managing your emotions can sometimes hinder your ability to fulfill your moderator responsibilities effectively.

Once more, consider your actions, you are holding me responsible for your inability to perform your job as you likely assured Shades you would, which is to address any board violations you encounter. By making this post, it appears that you've chosen to overlook the violation posted by Dr.Cam in order to address me.

What you're implying, and I believe everyone is already aware of this, is that you intend to maintain the violation out of spite towards me, as you prefer not to appear as though you are yielding to someone who is prepared to challenge you directly. You are attempting to convey strength by neglecting your responsibilities. The unfortunate aspect of this situation is that I genuinely believe you do not realize that the more time you allow Dr. Cam's board violation to remain unaddressed after I reported it to you, the more it serves to support my argument. I hope you keep it up until tomorrow, so I can return here then to inquire why it hasn't been taken down yet.

Allow me to assist you, as it appears you may be having a bit of difficulty lately. This is what will occur. You will keep the posts up, and if I continue to press the issue, either you or possibly Shades will come here to inform me that I am not allowed to report board violations publicly for everyone to see. However, I am already five steps ahead of you. I have already taken screenshots of more than 25 posts made by Marcus and other users who have publicly reported rule violations on the board for all to see. When the time comes, I will share those screenshots to inquire why you are treating me differently compared to how you have treated Marcus and other progressive posters previously.

It is quite straightforward, Canpakes. You should stop treating me, Ceeboo, and Marrk differently from how you treat your progressive friends. Engage with the board as an active participant, but remember to distinguish your moderator responsibilities. Currently, your board interactions and moderator role are blending together, which may give the impression of bias towards your friends. Everyone notices it, including Shades.

If you would like me to calm down, I propose a deal: if you remove the thread you initiated to treat me differently from others on the board, I will refrain from reposting the thread that Shades allowed me to share. I believe that is reasonable. Alternatively, you can maintain it and reveal your partiality and readiness to defend your friends, while I will continue to adhere to the rules and post as I have been doing. You have the freedom to make your own decisions. However, I will continue to utilize that thread to demonstrate your bias against me and other conservatives, and I will do so in accordance with the board's rules.

Months ago, I mentioned that you should have deleted that thread, as it demonstrates your willingness to overlook your moderator responsibilities in order to prove to your friends that you remain a team player, despite your role as a moderator. That thread portrays you in a rather unflattering light.

What are the benefits of utilizing the report feature?
That’s how the board functions, and it is the preference of Shades.

You should write an even longer reply post next, asking the same question, to see if the response changes. Let’s make this the longest thread in DM history!

I find it quite amusing that you, of all individuals, choose to enter this thread today to share your profound insights with everyone, particularly given that you are the most prominent and vocal overseer I have ever encountered!

Prior to posting in this thread a few days ago, I took the time to read through the entire discussion, and it appears that Res Ipsa initiated this thread specifically for you and Jersey Girl. You, more than anyone else in this thread, are highlighting specific rules and detailing the exact numbers associated with them, along with reasons for their adherence.

Across the extensive board spanning hundreds of pages, you, more than anyone else, including Canpakes, are directing blame at various individuals, urging Shades to either ban them or confine their content to Spirit Prison.

A few weeks ago, I came across a thread where we were bothering a user named Leeuniverse to the point that he stopped posting for more than a year! You pressured the individual off the board, and it was a deliberate action on your part. You exhibit a harsh and spiteful nature, both in your role as Marcus and as Lem.

Cease attempting to manipulate the rules to benefit your progressive allies. You lack the intelligence to engage with me effectively. I recognize the kind of person you are, my experience in various women's psychiatric hospitals has equipped me to handle individuals who may be experiencing instability, meaning, I understand who you are.

You're totally contradicting the point of your last thread!

You're not very bright.

Please tell us all how the board is not operating smoothly. Is it because your progressive friends aren't able to insult conservatives without getting push back from me?

To you, the board operating smoothly means progressives post without receiving criticism.

You spent time in psychiatric hospitals? Was that recent? Bless your heart, that explains a lot.

Also, you need to stomp those tiny feet when you command someone to "Cease!"

It was very kind of you to not mention Hound’s tiny hands.
