The video is about individual content creators and whether they get money from COJCOLDS. That's different than whether the various organizations do.Ego wrote: ↑Mon Jul 07, 2025 12:45 amJasmin, who might have every reason to expose dirty secrets about Scripture Central since she was laid off by them, posted a video just three days ago where she denies that the Church was directly a sponsor of them.I Have Questions wrote: ↑Sun Jul 06, 2025 9:44 pmIs it plausible to think that the Church, by virtue of the funding it provides to SC, is now exerting some influence?
She did mention that some influencers have been receiving money through third parties but did not indicate Scripture Central received funds in the same way as the example of this she gave. But let’s say it were so, what third party would it be done through and how would it be proven? Until then it seems rather speculative to me.

Re: Layoffs at Scripture Central?
For a few minutes of the video she specifically talked about the various non-profit organizations and mentioned explicitly Scripture Central not being backed by the Church. This was to give history and context for the rest of her message about individual content creators which is a new phenomenon.Alphus and Omegus wrote: ↑Mon Jul 07, 2025 4:52 pmThe video is about individual content creators and whether they get money from COJCOLDS.
