Hey Res,

Gald to see you back posting.

Kimmel lied.
Quote me the lie.
Be very, very careful ceeboo. Break this down. Quote, me, the and lie could all have unique definitions or interpretations.

Or, hell with it. It is as simple as Kimmel saying "many in MAGA". It ain't up to ceeboo or anyone else to figure it out. It is up to Sinclair. And Sinclair said enough. No doubt, the comment was meant to appeal to some and piss off others, maybe his partners at the affiliates were amongst the pissed.

This could have all been avoided if Kimmel had just told the joke like Sarah Silverman, who loved *******.

1. Political Speech & Social Media

Donald Trump banned from Twitter, Facebook, YouTube (2021): After January 6, platforms permanently or temporarily suspended Trump’s accounts citing incitement of violence.

COVID-19 “misinformation” (2020–2022): YouTube, Facebook, and Twitter removed or flagged posts that contradicted public health guidance. This included bans on questioning masks, vaccines, or lockdowns.

Hunter Biden laptop story (2020): Twitter and Facebook limited sharing of the New York Post article before the election, citing hacked materials policy.

Russian state media (2022): RT and Sputnik banned or restricted across Europe and on many platforms following the Ukraine invasion.

2. Entertainment & Comedy

Episodes pulled from streaming (2019–2025):

30 Rock, The Office, Community, and Scrubs had episodes removed for blackface.

Gone With the Wind was temporarily pulled from HBO Max in 2020 over racial depictions, later re-added with disclaimers.

Dave Chappelle Netflix specials (2021–2022): Protested heavily and subject to internal censorship pressure due to trans jokes, though Netflix kept them up.

Disney editing older content (ongoing): Classic cartoons and films placed behind disclaimers for “outdated cultural depictions.”

3. Books & Publishing

Dr. Seuss titles (2021): Six children’s books pulled by the Seuss estate for racist imagery.

Roald Dahl rewrites (2023): Publisher Puffin edited language in Dahl’s books to remove words like “fat” or “ugly.” Backlash led to release of “classic” editions alongside edited versions.

Book bans in U.S. schools/libraries (2019–2025): Huge spike in challenges, especially around LGBTQ+ themes (Gender Queer, Maus, The Bluest Eye). Conservative states led most bans.

4. News & Journalism

Coverage restrictions in authoritarian countries:

China: Tightened censorship of Hong Kong protests, COVID origins, and Uyghur reports.

Russia: Outlawed calling Ukraine war a “war,” banned independent outlets like Novaya Gazeta.

India: Increased takedowns of BBC documentaries and posts critical of Modi.

5. Technology & AI

TikTok bans (2020–2025): U.S. government tried to ban TikTok multiple times over security concerns. Montana passed a statewide ban (later blocked).

ChatGPT and generative AI restrictions (2023–2025): Italy temporarily banned ChatGPT citing privacy, several countries limited AI-generated political ads.

6. Music

Morgan Wallen (2021): Country singer temporarily banned from radio and awards shows after video surfaced of him using a slur.

Ye (Kanye West) (2022): Dropped by Adidas, CAA, and radio stations after antisemitic remarks.
Yeah, eff it.

The lie-est of the lies is that Trump is making a huge mistake because the Democrats will be in power and they will do the same thing to whatever whoever. Common sense and history show that this is the dummiest thing ever. The Democrats already swung that axe and would do it again. So, yeah, no sympathy and no fear. Just is what it is. Conditions accepted, I guess.

They banned Dr. Seuss for godsakes. So no, whatever man. Big whatever man.

I don’t think that Res can quote a lie that you claim exists, but doesn’t.

In any event, it’s good to see you being coached by Whiskey again.

This was a powerful post, ceeboo.

The pattern of imagining things that are not there is one thing. The pattern of imagining and knowing intent and what people think is like, woooo woooohooo wooowowowzawowza wooohooo voodoo crap. Or, it is just legalese. You know what I mean though, right?

Nope, my friend. You made the claim that Kimmel lied. If you can’t support your claim, I think my subsequent claims need no explanation.

The pattern of imagining things that are not there........
It happens quite a bit and it creates a significant number of challenges.

To extend some grace and shelve all of the possibilities that have various degrees of bad intent, how is someone supposed to reply to something that only exists in someone else's head?

I know what you mean more than you can imagine (pun intended).

Unfortunately, from personal experience, I fear, based on how often you swing by merely to tell the crowd how awful they all are.
