It might not. But it does show that there are more than a few targets out there, some of whom are very happy to have you thinking that Nancy is the worst or the only example of the problem.

Personally, I don't care about Pelosi. I think she's a major Democrat grifter. But I really don't care. In any economic policy change there's going to be winners and losers. I'm not worried about billionares or heavy investors. (Except when they throw their money at blantant societal destruction.) It doesn't affect me much personally. But are you sure you're not merely adding envy to your list of reasons to hate Trump. [Shrug.] I'm sure you have you reasons why you hate Trump. We probably disagree about most things. Okay.

The only question that matters to me is whether or not Trump's policies are good for the general economy overall. So far, I have mixed views. More time is needed. I hope you feel better soon.

Mostly I would think. That was one cool thing. Many others too! But I suspect there are several neighborhoods were that would not have been a positive experience. There are neighborhoods downtown where I live where I would get my ass kicked (or worse) if the even dared to go there.

There’s plenty to dunk on Trump for. He’s generally a miserable, vindictive, immature grifter with fraud convictions and who has cheated on three wives and screwed over plenty of hard-working people who’ve committed to services for him yet were bilked out of payment in the end. And that’s a very kind and incomplete list. But I will always give the person at the helm of the Nation some benefit of the doubt if they appear to be trying to make things better economically for the citizens. I don’t see that happening yet with Trump and his policies. Aside from an advancing stock market, most anything else that Joe and Jane Six Pack have to pay for have only become more expensive.

Markk and I have chatted about Trump’s tariff policies. I’d like to believe that they could work, but I’m just not seeing it. At the moment, a great example is given with the collapse of the US soybean export market to China, and now a need to start shoveling billions of tax dollars into the hands of farmers to keep them from going into bankruptcy … because tariffs. We killed our own.

And gas prices, energy prices, grocery prices, housing prices, healthcare prices, … things aren’t exactly doing better than when Sleepy Joe the Master Global Crime Boss Antichrist DEI Overlord was running things. Or his minions. Whomever it was, that time was likely better economically for average folks.
