I suspect that HoH would think I am a 'progressive Marxist', whatever it is he understands by those terms. Anyway, I am certainly 'white' in his eyes, though my actual colour is a kind of greyish pink.

But let's say that I am a partaker of the quality of 'whiteness'. Compared to the other things I might partake of, such as 'blackness' or 'brownness', whiteness brings the possessor many potential advantages, most of which I think I have enjoyed or continue to enjoy. Whiteness is great, in part because it has given me the ability to do a lot of things that I think may have a good effect on the people with whom I share the world!

Because of that, I would like the benefits of that 'whiteness' to be extended to the black, brown and yellow people I know. That would not destroy 'whiteness' - indeed it would make it even greater, though we might want to change its name to 'humanity' once enough people have joined the club.

I like the way you put that! That's how I feel about the matter. Whatever real or imagined advantages or potentials whites are perceived as possessing merely by being "white" should be extended fairly and equally to all, whether actually white or not. This would not, as you said, "destroy 'whiteness'" nor unfairly disadvantage "whites" nor constitute "white genocide" nor anti-white bigotry as idiotically claimed by white Christian nationalists.

Advocacy of diversity, equity and inclusion is merely the diametric opposite of hateful and destructive bigotry and the only effective remedy for it!

You certainly don't understand what I mean by progressive. By progressive I simply mean an honest acknowledgement that we and our society can always be further improved, by new and innovative ideas and replacement or improvement of what doesn't work or no longer works well.
