You speak for me as well, Weaps. I have never had or seen so many people just in my own little sight line who are suffering like there are right now. I mean it's like...someone pulled the pin and unleashed.

Well yes, it's taken out of context. But it's there. It's still there for us to find.

I've got a new thing to share with you. It's called a prayer Bible. You take a small Bible and tab it for various verses and themes for your prayer life. I might use a blank journal from my craft stash instead. I don't like the idea of altering my Bibles because they each hold special meaning for me and I don't want them changed*. It's from Diana, I'll link it right here.

With so many folks in need I think it makes for a good heads up to try to make my prayer life more meaningful in a way. Does that make sense? So in this case, you are actually praying scripture. She suggests it for when you feel your prayers are repetitive or when you just don't know what to say.

Here's one about the concept, I think she's got two. So I think the other thing, too, is as you are putting this together you might also be thinking more about the specifics for people you pray for. Like when you take notes or write out scripture, it helps you to concentrate on it and remember it. You know what I mean...so if prayer is an act of faith we're expressing faith in the Lord's interest in us as well as his ability to tend to our needs according to his Will...lillies of the field, fowls of the air, knowing that his view of the world is so different than ours. But when he starts flinging doors open? Stunning.

I often say please to Him. Perhaps I didn’t in the post, because He is capable. It is only He that can uphold us by his mighty hand. He is certainly doing that in our family right now.

I think that [uphold us by your mighty hand] is just something He does, His character and being. I can trust in that because of who He is. Like this is what you do, Lord, and I can count on you to do it without reservation.
