Re: Thank you Mr. President
It seems to be a theme among Trump's supporters to admire the great effort and sacrifice that he makes to fill the office of President.
It's actually a damning condemnation of his performance. I mean, think about it.
Who ever thanks Simone Biles or LeBron James for all their efforts in training? Who admires Albert Einstein's dedication in struggling for years to understand relativity? Who praises Jane Austen for her endurance of writer's cramp? People who excel at what they do are not praised for their efforts. They're admired for their achievements. It's taken for granted that success doesn't come easy.
Even people who merely perform important tasks to an acceptable standard are not congratulated for how hard they tried. They are thanked for properly doing their jobs, just like anyone else, except that their jobs are important, so in their cases we are especially glad that they managed it.
Praising a President just for bearing the strains of the office he voluntarily sought is a blatant admission that the man hasn't actually done anything well enough to be worthy of respect. The kind of thing that ajax18 has just posted, and that many other Trump supporters also post, is the kind of thing that you only ever say to try to excuse a friend's embarrassing screw-up. "Hey, it's a very hard job, and they really tried."
The frequency with which Trump supporters praise Trump in this minimal way only shows how little substantial accomplishment even Trump's keenest supporters can find to praise.

Next, ajax will be telling us that unwrapping cheeseburgers, ranting on social media and watching Fox News is hard work.Physics Guy wrote: ↑Tue May 26, 2026 7:49 amThe frequency with which Trump supporters praise Trump in this minimal way only shows how little substantial accomplishment even Trump's keenest supporters can find to praise.
Well, maybe that last one is, given how much BS must be waded through to do so.

Thank you, President Trump, for being personally responsible for 28% of our national debt, devaluing our currency by 50% in real terms, and motivating countries across the world to de-stake themselves from the dollar further plunging our ability to secure prosperity into a deadly recession.

To be fair to Trump, that did require a significant amount of effort.Doctor CamNC4Me wrote: ↑Tue May 26, 2026 3:04 pmThank you, President Trump, for being personally responsible for 28% of our national debt, devaluing our currency by 50% in real terms, and motivating countries across the world to de-stake themselves from the dollar further plunging our ability to secure prosperity into a deadly recession.

Thank you, Mr. President, for being such a damn up that you made the job a hundred times harder than it needed to be. Thank you using your Presidency to make billions and funnel hundreds of millions to your children. You really showed Hunter Biden how to do it!Everybody Wang Chung wrote: ↑Tue May 26, 2026 3:47 pmTo be fair to Trump, that did require a significant amount of effort.Doctor CamNC4Me wrote: ↑Tue May 26, 2026 3:04 pmThank you, President Trump, for being personally responsible for 28% of our national debt, devaluing our currency by 50% in real terms, and motivating countries across the world to de-stake themselves from the dollar further plunging our ability to secure prosperity into a deadly recession.
You didn’t have to run for President, but you really took all those shots and arrows that were returned at you from the public that you relentlessly attacked, which you didn’t have to do. So, thank you for taking public political discourse lower than the shittiest part of your diaper.
And finally, thank you Mr. President for destroying our farms, freedoms, and economy because white stupid damned racists like Ajax18 would rather eat the ass end of a dead horse than see a Mexican prosper in this country. He’s bigly smart like you.
So. Thank you. Thank you for showing us that a literal rapist child idiot can start a war to cover for it all and still retain his presidency if he has an R by his name.

Yes he did. Religion is for people whose existential fear is greater than their common sense. It's also the favored cover for hypocrites.

Thank you Mr. President for turning Europe, Canada, India, South Korea, and India away from the US and now 100’s of billions in dollars going from American families to deals they’re making amongst themselves. Thank you, because people like Ceeboob hate homosexuals so much he’d rather the US be destroyed, and it’s well on its way to being so, than to let homosexuals live in peace and harmony. So. Thank you for that.
Also, thanks for having a UFC event on the White House lawn. Thank you for the bread and circus, Mr. President.
