I cannot even imagine any self-respecting Egyptian Pharaoh nor ancient historian would be willing to reveal all their failures and shortcomings at the hands of the Hebrews let alone a non-Egyptian dirty... I'll present this to you, but I rather feel you have made up your mind to suit your own personal tastes and values: https://armstronginstitute.org/692-youv ... ard-egypts
Of course I will not click that link. I know too much about ancient Egypt to be fooled by apologists with a biblical agenda.
So, no thank you!
Egyptology and science have made an absolute rock solid case which is fully supported by the academic world through universities and museums. The case for the Bible and the so-called Exodus is closed.

Have a nice day, LittleNipper.
Matthew 10:14
And whosoever shall not receive you, nor hear your words, when ye depart out of that house or city, shake off the dust of your feet.
Matthew 10:14

Enough said.
A statement said some 2,000 years ago as recorded by religionists of a cult that touted the imminent Second Coming of a man who gave the said statement.
And yet, another 2,000 years (4000 AD) will pass and nothing will have changed.

Manetho wrote in 3rd century BCE. A thousand+ years after the alleged events. Zero credibility. Even that obviously biased religious website admits that "it remains unknown how these details were passed on down to the time of Manetho’s writing (third century b.c.e.)". The website is just blathering a lot of unsubstantiated arguments based on obvious motivated reasoning. In other word, just apologetic pablum.
Whatever that link is, you can forget it. So, you may dust your feet again and curse me all you like, LittleNipper. I will not be deceived! I AM awake and am full of praise! I am God.
We (the educated) trust in the coordinated academic scholarship of credible universities and the wonderful presentations given in museums around the world. Moses and the Ten Plagues as presented in the Bible is nothing more than a story, it’s pure religious fiction. The chronology and timeline made-up by the Jews is false. The stories in Genesis are religious lore.

Thank your for bringing up Manetho (Wikipedia) because he like Joseph Smith had to keep up with a lot of kings! My hat is off to Joseph Smith for keeping track of a lot of stuff but the Benjamin/Mosiah incident presented in this thread is clear proof he screwed up his mythmaking timeline.
Here is my little presentation on that list of kings:
Paul Osborne (Independent Scholar of Egyptology) wrote:
Manetho’s Kings (According to Josephus)
TIMAUS was the ruling Egyptian pharoah before the Hyksos invaded Egypt
Hyksos kings (“first rulers among them”):
SALATIS; Reigned 13 years, lived in Memphis, Upper & Lower Egypt paid tribute.
BEON; Reigned 44 years
APACHNAS; Reigned 36 years & 7 months
APOPHIS; Reigned 61 years
JANIAS; Reigned 50 years & 1 month
ASSIS; Reigned 49 years & two months
Total 254 years
Menetho goes on to state that the shepherd kings, “kept possession of Egypt 511 years”.
Expulsion of the Hyksos:
ALISPHRAGMUTHOSIS;
THUMMOSIS; Son of Alisphragmuthosis
Egyptian New Kingdom Period:
TETHMOSIS; Reigned 25 years & 4 months
CHEBRON; Reigned 13 years
AMENOPHIS; Reigned 20 years & 7 months
AMESSES (sister of Amenophis); Reigned 21 years & 9 months
MEPHRES; Reigned 12 years & 9 months
MEPHRAMUTHIS; Reigned 25 years & 10 months
TETHMOSIS; Reigned 9 years & 8 months
AMENOPHIS; Reigned 30 years & 10 months
ORUS; Reigned 36 years & 5 months, “spectator of the gods”
ACENCHRES (daughter of Orus); Reigned 12 years & 1 month
RATHOTIS (brother of Acenchres); Reigned 9 years
ACENCHERES; Reigned 12 years & 5 months
ACENCHERES; Reigned 12 years & 3 months
ARMAIS; Reigned 4 years & 1 month
RAMESSES; Reigned 1 year & 4 months
ARMESSES MIAMOUN; Reigned 66 years & 2 months
AMENOPHIS; Reigned 19 years & 6 months
Total 332 years
Menetho continues to introduce more kings:
SETHOSIS;
RAMESSES; Had an army of horses and a naval force. His brother Armais (Danaus) was deputy over Egypt and plotted to take the kingdom while Ramesses was on an expedition. Ramesses returned to Egypt to retake the kingdom and Armais (Danaus) went to Argos (Greece). Apparently this occured 393 years after the Hyksos and the Israelites were expelled from Egypt in the days of Tethmosis.
