That is not only more than the combined current constitutionally mandated salaries of all the members in both house of congress combined, but also more than the combined constitutionally established salaries of all the previous U.S. Presidents in history! He has also openly admitted that he doesn't care how high the inflation gets, and that the cost of housing is more than most people can afford. He made his living before his presidency mainly in real estate, so from his perspective, the higher the cost of housing for everyone goes, the more profit he and his millionaire donors and supporters make. Nor does he care how many Americans can't afford health care or to feed their families. Nor does he care that that there is no way to afford the massive tax cuts for himself and the already ultra wealthy without further impoverishing almost everyone else.
Compared to all that, the official Presidential salary Trump "patriotically" volunteered to waive is practically an infinitesimally small pittance!
He Just doesn't care, because he is convinced that he will be already dead and buried by the time the economic and environmental disasters resulting from his selfish, ignorant policies and corruption become irreversible, even if the world ultimately ends in a thermonuclear world war.

Do any of you Trump supporters actually fail to see how outrageously corrupt, selfish and immoral Trump and his administration are? Do you really think that removing all regulations intended to prevent or limit dangerous exploitation and theft of the most vulnerable by the wealthiest and most ruthless crooks in existence is a good idea? Trump seems to think so! As long as it benefits his own selfish lust for ever increasing wealth and power, he doesn't care who else will suffer. He hardly even tries to hide or even apologize for that! He even, in effect, openly brags about it and how clever he is to manage to get away with so much avarice and corruption!
No precept or claim is more suspect or more likely to be false than one that can only be supported by invoking the claim of Divine authority for it--no matter who or what claims such authority.
