Religion is for people whose existential fear is greater than their common sense. It's also the favored cover for hypocrites.

No precept or claim is more suspect or more likely to be false than one that can only be supported by invoking the claim of Divine authority for it--no matter who or what claims such authority.

I'm afraid I'm getting the impression that if there is ever anything good about any instance of religion, then it was no true religion.
I was a teenager before it was cool.
