I just watched a video of a baby impala being ripped from its mother’s womb by a pack of painted dogs, and both the mother and baby impala were eviscerated while conscious.
There may be another life. There may be another simulation to experience. Whatever. But a just god doesn’t create evil, and it doesn’t set up a system whereby one animal must gut another in order to get energy.
If there is a god, it’s terrifying.

Teach animals how to be polite and use forks? Teach and require/force humans to not do any evil?
Good luck with that.

How are you so damned stupid as to miss the entirely clear and deliberate point that was made? damned decades of you crap posting on the Internet and you're still just as damned retarded as when you began. It's remarkable, really.
May I suggest that we leave things in God’s hands rather than trying to control Him by telling him how to run the universe?

MG
Do you think God listens to suggestions from the end user about how He might do things better? Sure.
Do you think God is capable of learning and growing? I don’t know. One way or the other He is an all knowing God in our relationship to Him. We don’t have to worry that He is going to screw things up.
Do you think the system He has supposedly set up here on earth is absolutely perfect and unable to be improved? Yes. For the purposes in which it was created.
If improvement for God(s) is impossible, what does that say about Him and our supposed eternity being Gods? That we can join Him in the work of creation and processes by which progression continues throughout eternity. A family/cohort of beings capable of mentoring others in truth and light.
What would you think of a parent who refused to listen and act on feedback from their unhappy children about their perceived parenting from the child's point of view? How does that kind of a parent/child relationship usually end up when the child becomes an adult?
God listens. He lets us choose our path. But how/why would we expect a perfected being to be subject to our imperfect judgement?
In what way is it possible for us to control God? His work and glory is to bring to pass the happiness and eternal life of mankind. It is dependent on us to obey and follow His will. If we fail to do so His work is frustrated but not curtailed. In this way I suppose we ‘control’ God and what He can accomplish as a result of our agency/agenda. I would think He would be tickled pink if we could all come back to His presence. Fortunately God has prepared a path for the many who choose not to follow the ‘exact’ path the Savior set. So ultimately we do have control over our own destiny.

I sometimes wonder what our world might look like had we not instituted public education. I #givethanks for people like MG, subjenius, Ajax, Markk, and ldsfaqs who provide ample evidence that education is absolutely lost on some souls and it’s our burden we must endure to move this world forward despite their best efforts to self-genocide.

Lol. I look forward to seeing more of your #personal_gratitude_journal entries in the coming days. Like the hashtag "unruly child," this request might backfire on the LDS church leadership.

It’s like you don’t have any damned clue what the subject matter of any thread is, but you just pop in with some inane BS that seems perfectly rational to you and when someone calls you out for the utter retardery you levy on this forum you act shocked and dismayed. Notice I said you act that way, not that you actually feel that way. This troll game you’ve been playing for decades, pretending you’re not an apologist, or being hyper passive-aggressive, or insulting people while simultaneously demanding civility, or finding “nuance” that ends up just being dyed-in-the-wool TBM turbo regressive doctrine is passé. You don’t deserve the kind of consideration you moan about, because you’re a fake asshole who trolls. If the last four years has taught me anything is that compassion fatigue is a real thing, and if you believe for a second people are still about putting up with your BS then you can get screwed. Your mentality is cancerous and when meme’d it’s disastrous for our species.

You’re too funny. I give reasoned responses to IHAQ, you, and others on this very thread and you go ballistic. Your pants are down and you’re looking, shall I say, a bit embarrassing to your species.
A bit of civility on your part would be welcomed rather than the embarrassingly repetitive ‘troll’ accusations and arm chair psychoanalytics.
Going off topic. Care to respond to my actual postings/questions?
No. Because I don’t care about you and your nonsense enough to play this attention-seeking game of yours. You’re a damned rube who’s just clever enough to get people to pay attention to you, which is weird. You bring nothing interesting to the table outside of the games others decide to play with you. You’re an empty vessel, and your LDS-centric philosophies are boring and trite.
I deeply reject the type of thinking that relies on the afterlife for justice or any other type of righteousness. I think it damages human relationships by giving reason for people to neglect righteousness and justice right now.
Au contraire mefrou. I think you may have it backwards. How would one expect to show forth mercy, forbearance and righteousness...and BE/DO so by nature(in an afterlife)...if one neglected to do so and was basically a prick in this life? Doesn’t work that way.
LDS scriptures are full of injunctions/teachings to follow in the footsteps of the Savior and BE as He is and DO as he does. And by good fortune, He forgives and forgets when we fail to do so as long as we sincerely repent. It is through that process that we improve human/eternal relationships.

MG
Take it up with Dan. I am responding to his remarks, not all the possible implications of LDS scriptures and teachings. Even LDS believers can get lost on broken paths.
