According to Edwards, more than 6,000 Louisiana children now have COVID-19. Edwards said this is the most positive cases in children since the pandemic began.
3,000 in the last four days. This will be interesting with regard to ICU visits and that particular demographic.

Gov. Greg Abbott appealed for out-of-state help Monday to fight the third wave of COVID-19 in Texas.
The request came as a county-owned hospital in Houston raised tents to accommodate their COVID-19 overflow. Private hospitals in the county already were requiring their staff to be vaccinated against the coronavirus.

My best friend died after catching covid at the hospital. In the cancer ward. He was 24 years old. I've heard stories of nurses working with compromised patients that are anti-vax, or don't believe in the mask mandates. I hope they do quit.
