I would appreciate the whole mess being debated down there in forum all of this will apply to.
Drumdude, this question applies to all the forums.
I understand, but again as I said these complaints apply to one specific forum. If anyone has had a problem with any posts in this forum, it would be news to me.

Which is why Gadianton even offered to be a temporary moderator with a single goal of resolving this specific problem.

Queuing has been used only in those cases where someone continues to violate rules after repeated admonitions by Shades or a moderator.
For such a simple tool, it seems to have a remarkable impact on attempts to spam/troll, given that it interrupts the ability to do so in real time.

What I mean by this is do you see one forum (say the dining room) and another forum (say the kitchen) as two separate rooms in the same house? Or do you see them as two completely separate houses?
It might even be like two separate tables in the same house, like at Christmas, where quieter adult conversation can occur at one table, and a more raucous event can be happening at the ‘kids’ table, complete with toys, spilled drinks and half-eaten cookies.
: )
Ha! Truth be told, I'm 53 and still love the kids table at Christmas - And still sit there! (I know, this doesn't surprise many of you)

While my bride and the rest of the adults discuss things like quantum physics and the total number of hair follicles in the average human head - I am at the fun table flicking cream corn with a plastic spoon and seeing how many dinner rolls I can balance on top of my plastic cup (My personal record is 16 for what it's worth) :)

I agree. It also allows the moderators to give direct feedback to the board member on every post, ideally communicating to the member exactly what is required in the queued forum. I don't view it as punitive (but then, I don't view moderation in general as punitive), but as reform oriented.

Exactly!

In many respects, that’s a perfect analogy to participation in the Spirit Paradise forum, even if the name-calling does get out of hand at times.

Let me be very clear, repetitive, redundant - NO TO GADIANTON. ABSOLUTELY NO!
To be honest I think you would be extremely lucky to not end up with Jersey or Lem as mods, given their length of time and presence on the board.

The saying about beggars and choosers comes to mind.

By the way, you should definitely post pics of this the next time you are trying to break the record, lol.

I am advocating against giving any control whatsoever to Gadianton, Lem, Jersey, Doc Cam or their complicit crew - based on their history AND based on their declared conviction to their collective bias.

Let me be very clear, repetitive, redundant - NO TO GADIANTON. ABSOLUTELY NO!
Lol. That request speaks volumes. :)

Consider it done!

by the way - Us kiddies made a few rules bout this - Once you take your hand off of the top roll, you can't touch any of the rolls in the stack and no smashing down using the top roll is allowed (My nephew, who was 9 at the time, was caught smashing down and was disqualified for this very thing) :)

ETA - much of that post is a mischaracterization of events, in an attempt to mask the poster’s own behavior and intent.
