I remember years ago wondering why the MAD board put up with the over-the-top attacks of Pahoran. On one hand, his nastiness was very much contrary to the religious ideals of the community. On the other, he was the vocal presentation of all their inner demons turned toward Mormon critics. Pahoran helped the MADites remove their Jesus robes and put on the Horn of Dagon to slay those who pissed them off. Ultimately, the Horn of Dagon was the most appealing and forgivable.

I haven’t posted here since just after NOM was restored, for a couple of reasons, one being the lack of moderation. There are just too many trolls and too much insulting each other and moderation could clean that up.

Well, since I am giving my reasons, the other reason that I don’t participate much here is there is more arguing with the apologists than I am interested in. But I can skip those threads. I just see no point in arguing with people if I am confident they are idiots. Why wrestle with a pig in its pig pen?

But I obviously have been lurking. And this discussion has been the one thing that I felt I had a different perspective on, that could get me to register on the new version. So, having lurked for a few years, and not participated, partly because there are no moderators, and it shows, I figured you need to know you lose posters because of no moderation. You have trolls that just need to be banned, and you have posters that don’t do much except insult those on the opposite end of the political spectrum. Personally, I don’t find reading insults entertaining and I don’t want to participate in that kind of atmosphere.

So, can we conclude that you are all the way on board with the posts that Doc Cam was making in the Spiritual Paradise and your only concern is that it was cross-posted? You do not object to Doc Cam's profanity, bigotry, use of homosexuality as a pejorative insult, racial insults and harassment as long as it is in Spiritual Paradise and not in the Terrestrial world, correct?

All you had to do was read Gad's comments on this thread to know what he is doing and why he is doing it. All your questions would have been answered.

He may be fine for Terrestrial. He is a terrible choice for Spiritual Paradise. He is part of the problem in that forum and not part of the solution.

Do you never stop lying? Gad isn't part of the problem anywhere on this board and he never has been. He clearly stated what he is doing, where he's doing it and why he's doing it.
