Because I have empathy and compassion. The man has had to manage some absolutely horrific and heart-wrenching tragedies in his life. He lost his young wife and one year old daughter in a car accident (I can't even begin to imagine that kind of pain and sadness) - he lost his eldest son to cancer - he has to deal with his other son's personal battles that have been made public and now, at the later stages of life, he is clearly not well.
