Because every "episode" of Kyler's is the same.
List arbitrary attributes of the Book of Mormon
Assign arbitrary probabilities to them
Multiply probabilities to get the target result
Wash, rinse, repeat.
Because every "episode" of Kyler's is the same.
Truth be told, the only person that, in my experience, has been a just a fair moderator is Shades himself. So, the fact that he is not able to allocate the time which would be necessary to be a fair and just moderator puts this board in somewhat of a dilemma. Without fair and just moderators this board will continue towards a ‘crash and burn’ trajectory.
Is this a devotional? Or a motivational speech? Should people clap? Anyway, carry on. I know not the ways of the raccoons and whales.ceeboo wrote: ↑Mon Aug 30, 2021 7:13 pm...No biggie - Here's the good news: These opportunities that we all have don't vanish, they don't disappear forever, as long as any of us still have air in our lungs, these opportunities to do the right thing are always available to each and every one of us. Obviously, this includes you, Lem.

On the other hand, if this is your roundabout way of apologizing publicly for your recent sexist comments to me, thank you. It is appreciated.
If I had to give it a label, I would probably call it "Shared Wisdom" - I would be the one who is sharing the wisdom and you would be the one who needs it and gets to choose if you will accept it or reject it.Lem wrote: ↑Mon Aug 30, 2021 7:47 pmIs this a devotional? Hey Ceebs. This concept of telling someone else that they have to make the first move always puzzles me. What is it supposed to accomplish? When I try to picture myself saying that or something, I can’t get past the notion that I’m letting someone else decide how I will behave. Not only that, I’m telling them they are responsible. Which they aren’t. Would you be willing to help me out here?ceeboo wrote: ↑Mon Aug 30, 2021 6:09 pmLem, You do have an option to do the right thing here. You don't even have to go as far as apologizing to anyone, you can simply say you had a misunderstanding or that you misread something. No biggie - I have many of my own.
Plus, I will even let you know what my response would be before you take such a high risk. I would tell you "No worries, I've done it too. All is well."
But, you are the one who has to make the first move.
This pretty much nails it.
Careful! You’re about ten seconds away from being called a sexist by Lem.MG 2.0 wrote: ↑Mon Aug 30, 2021 8:23 pmThis pretty much nails it.
Ceeboo, I don’t know what’s going on between you and Lemming, but the fact that she knows not the ways of raccoons and whales would be a bit disconcerting/troublesome,would it not?
Good luck bridging the gap. There’s a large land mass to cover.
