I don't have anything specific in mind, just that he was always a regular thoughtful voice here during my years lurking on the board before I registered. I'll lament again that it's a huge shame that the database for the old board is so corrupted and likely unrecoverable. Many people like him spent so many hours across years sharing their invaluable research and insights there and it's awful that they're mostly gone.

Apparently while I was not paying much attention to this board my name came up in this thread. Just a short comment. To protect my good name I must strongly oppose the accusations that were regurgitated against me. They were not true then and they’re not true today. Much has been made of who was the victim, and who should be respected/honored for one reason or another, and those (one being me) who didn’t deserve that same respect because we strongly disagreed with the dominant party line and made a point of saying so. Different methods and strategies were then used to defame and sling mud at those of us that were/are believers. Being called a troll, being one of many.

And now this?

Ceeboo is butthurt because he’s a Christian who used to proselytize on the old board and had his ass handed to him repeatedly, so he gave that up for posting gifs of babies and, I dunno, small animals. He’s also a Conservative, and you can imagine how that went. So, more baby gifs and small animals. Ceeboo breezes into the forum NEVER TO DISCUSS. He comes here to bellyache, wear a mask of kindness, and, like MG, say a bunch of crappy nonsense to DERAIL DISCUSSION. He’s MG minus the Mormon.

This from one of the same folks that joined in on the fray back when I was the whipping boy. Times haven’t changed. Believers are ridiculed, in one way or another…at the end of the day…because they are believers and don’t tow the dominant party line.

Mentalgymnast, you stalked and targeted grindael for years, you called him names, you disparaged repeatedly his in real life writings and presentations, including multiple announcements made here about his accomplishments. You invaded every thread he started, derailing with vicious insults and non-stop mean-spiritedness. Even after promising multiple times publicly you would no longer troll his threads, you continued to do it. Even after you were given a Jubilee and promised (again!) to stay off his threads and stop trolling him, within HOURS you started up again.

You were the exact definition of a troll who posts with the intent to disrupt. People's objections to your targeting of Grindael had absolutely NOTHING to do with objecting to your religion. Everyone who read your shameful attacks knew that. People objected to YOU. It was you and your behavior on display and it was sickening to see you continue going after him. Your behavior was inexcusable. Shades has a rule that no one can be disinvited, so I will just say, start your own thread and take your nonsense there.

MG 2.0, welcome to the troll club. Anyone who opposes or says anything Lem doesn't like will be painted as a troll. Then jersey girl and Doc Cam will chime in to back her up. If you keep it up, she'll try to make you out to be a sexist next. Well, as far as the party line goes, it would be wise to understand and accept what worldview dominates this board (This worldview isn't just about belief in God, it is also very heavily slanted to the political left) - So, if you can indeed understand and accept that reality, you will increase your odds of being able to actually post here without being shocked at the responses. (by the way, it's "toe" the political line - not "tow")

That was my experience back in the day. Others would chime in also once she got the ball rolling. She would track me everywhere I went. Kind of weird.

The major shenanigans with all the crap that’s been referred to with Lemming didn’t exist anywhere’s near to the extent that it did after she showed up.

Too bad, because she actually has some interesting insights and views that I’ve appreciated at times. And I don’t think I’d ever dare challenge her acumen with statistics/numbers. I do believe, however, that this gift that she has may inadvertently impact the black and white way she seems to see the world. At least that’s my take with my interactions with her. Very little flexibility. A rigid nature. But then again, I don’t know her in real life, I can only go off of what I’ve observed over time on this board.

It’s her way or the highway. Anyway, I hadn’t seen this thread at all until today and I felt like I needed to stand up. And I was a bit peeved at the way ceeboo was treated. But he’s a big boy, as am I, and we can take it.
