Oh I do SO hope I AM wrong! thanks for the useful and encouraging update! I've had my head into poetry this last few weeks and haven't kept up. I am having so much fun discovering poetry I have been cheerful in spite of the pandemic. I mean, heck man, that in itself is almost good medicine!

The retired white guys I know with plenty of money can easily afford to isolate themselves and should most definitely be lower on the list than essential workers. If that benefits minorities disproportionately, then so be it. In a sense of justice that's after the fact, that's fine with me, but I admit I'm far less interested in calculating what racial groups should get the vaccine first based on perceptions about who has suffered most as a class.

I'm glad the Times wrote an informative article about this problem. That National Review article that you got this from was a childish rant.

I'm not sure exactly what they did. The new dashboard is reported as a joint HHS-CDC product.
