Beastie, I'm sorry to have to tell you that I'm not going to publicly condemn Ray or anybody else merely because you request it.

I haven't paid any attention to this issue of yours. I don't know much about it, and I'm not particularly interested. I know Ray. I've been in his home. I've met his daughter. I feel quite comfortable with him.

If you're really fascinated with the matter, you deal with it. And if you really, really want to drag me into your personal spats, you deal with the inevitable disappointment.

Of course you're not going to publicly condemn Ray, although he said something far, far worse than others whom you HAVE publicly condemned, and "diagnosed".

And does anyone doubt for a nanosecond that if an RFMer, or a critic from here, were to engage in the rank hypocrisy Ray engaged in with this statement:

I want to remind you, Ray, that I became The Enemy to you when I publicly opposed your (now incredibly hypocritical) assertion that the volatile sentiments expressed on the internet by "angry exmormons" would result in some quasi-mormon-holocaust - and up to that time, you and I had been quite friendly and had sided together on most topics. Yet I still opposed you when you said something I deemed patently ridiculous.

I'm on the same side as SLCabbie (the one you now applaud for saying I'm the product of incest for refusing to accept his assertions about Joseph Smith' narcissism), and Steve Benson, and have stood up to both of them.

Look, Nehor, I wasn't going to bring this up, but I, too, passed this along to some Jewish friends. Every single one of them found Hamblin's diatribe to be both over-the-top, and grossly offensive. Perhaps your lone friend is an anomaly, eh? Further, why do I need to be Jewish in order to find Hamblin's harangue offensive? It seems to me that I can (and should) be appalled by this sort of behavior regardless of creed.
