Arthur C. Clarke, science fiction author, dies at 90.
His books was of best sci-fi works, they sound believable, the characters was lively.
In the "Childhood's End" he has an interesting thought: to that time (as far as I know XXIV century) the religions would died out, because based on exact statistical data, the numbers/rates of the victims in the disasters are independent of the religious affinity; it was proved that divine intervention doesn't exist, no "god granted my prayer", no "god punished that sinners".
