Harmony, I think even General Conference broadcasts list him as President Thomas S. Monson.

Why? Isn't he the prophet for the earth today? I'd think he would be listed that way. Are we trying to hide that we have the prophet for the earth today? Are we ashamed to call him that? Embarrassed?
The Pope doesn't hide that he's the pope. Why would we hide that TSM is the Prophet?
