How do you separate your own feelings and your own thoughts from ones that are supposedly being telepathically put there by the Holy Ghost?
Admittedly not an easy nor foolproof task, I'd say. You run with some things, test it out, and determine how it works for you. If it works, then cool. If it doesn't then uh oh. That's putting it with brevity, but the gist is in that.

Another words feelings. I feel I am being watched. I feel I should go this way. Etc, Etc, Etc. Thoughts are described using the word feelings all the time. Also one of the big problems when trying to determine reliability or if it works for you is confirmation bias.

Stem, you realise that's not a description of finding the truth through the Holy Ghost, what you describe is trial and error.

Morality is doing what is right, regardless of what you are told. Religion is doing what you are told, regardless of what is right.

I believe you misunderstood (which was probably my fault). Please review. The trial and error comes about as a means to determine whether promptings (which I say are more than feelings) are truly via the Holy Ghost.

These polemical hypotheticals are cute. I'm not saying my experiences are anywhere near those of Abraham or Joseph Smith.
