Here is the person who mentions the personages.. The webpages hint at something like an Abraham-Hicks sort of... Influence! so you know anything of either ACIM, The Secret, or Abraham-Hicks?
I haven't read the Renard book, but I know many people who do like it. His book is not ACIM . A Course in Miracles is the title of a book, actually a compilation of three books. For whatever reason, Renard isn't the only reader of ACIM who is inspired to have heavenly visitations to explain or expand on the ideas in ACIM. Renard's heavenly visitors are absent from A Course in Miracles.
I am familiar with The Secret and consider it to have absolutely nothing in common with ACIM. If it claims inspiration from ACIM, it is a case of inspiration gone horribly wrong. I don't know anything about Abraham-Hicks.
A Course in Miracles is simply a copyrighted book. Numerous books, newsletters, study groups, conventions, and even what I'd call an absolute cult (in Wisconsin) have grown up around it. That's why I'm saying, best to just stick with the source if you want to understand ACIM for what it is. That said, it is helpful for most people to study with others. Ken Wapnik (I linked him above) was involved with ACIM from the beginning and has the most authentic insights into it.
I'm just trying to clear up what seems to be a misperception that Renard's book and ACIM are one and the same.
