A very brief teaser to quench your thirst before my full report on Thursday.
Did you know that when you drink several buckets of water in a day, you go tinkle almost constantly? It's amazing!
You are, umm, surprised by this? What else did you expect to happen? Your body seeks to maintain an equilibrium state in which its systems work optimally, and if the level of water coming into your bloodstream rises too much, your kidneys work hard to get water out of the body.
Of course, if you really do drink 'buckets' you can overwhelm your body's homeostatic systems and you will die. So don't try this at home.
Maksutov:
That's the problem with this supernatural stuff, it doesn't really solve anything. It's a placeholder for ignorance.
Mayan Elephant:
Not only have I denounced the Big Lie, I have denounced the Big lie big lie.

Chap,
How many people on this board on planet earth, other than you, do you think thought I was being serious with my post? You're one (so you can include yourself in the final number) so how many total people do you think?

I must confess that from time to time I do find it hard to decide whether you intend your posts to be taken seriously or not. Most of the time, the answer seems to be 'emphatically yes'. But in this case you were expecting us all to find the information that drinking a lot causes frequent urination (or 'tinkling' in your words) absolutely side-splitting? OK. It was a joke. Are I more relieved or disappointed? Hard to tell.

I'll try to be more clear in the future but I can't make you any promises. At the end of the day, Ceeboo is Ceeboo (The good and the not so good)
But in this case you were expecting us all to find the information that drinking a lot causes frequent urination (or 'tinkling' in your words) absolutely side-splitting? OK. It was a joke.
Humor (an absolute and precious gift for all of humanity to partake in and enjoy) comes in many flavors. If my particular flavor of humor isn't your thing, no worries. Our differences is one of the things that make life so freaking enjoyable.
Are I more relieved or disappointed? Hard to tell.
Was the "Are" an attempted joke/humor?
If you were relieved, that's great - If you were disappointed, that's actually a little weird.
A few very brief things - Then I will post my number again in one week.
Not really disappointed by the one pound loss but I am a little disappointed. I did not walk every day, I walked 3 times, at night, for the week and I walked approximately 1 mile each time at a very modest pace. I drank a ton of water, way more than I ever do. I drank a few diet cokes and had my daily coffee (with cream and sugar) but I had no regular pop or juice. I learned that I do not like wheat bread, at all (need to experiment to find something I like that can replace white bread.) I ate a lot of chicken breast and veggies - Raisin bran with skim milk - snacked on raw carrots, peppers and celery. I ate no chips (a big deal for me.) Broke down and had two large slices of pizza that my boy brought home one evening (Yeah, he's a real pecker! )
Still have lots to learn - lots to try - lots to discover. So, I move onward.
