Look, you don't have any problem with my speculations BECAUSE you have not read them.
Read the thread and qualify yourself to the work. Otherwise, well, I'll just have to ignore you because you're not informed or keeping up.
I honestly don’t mind if you ignore me.
What I want to make clear is that yes, I kept up with this thread when it began and for a while thereafter the last time I popped into DM. Then I let it go. When I popped back in, I perused here and there throughout the rest of the thread. Granted, if I was a nonbeliever or non member I might find your theory of more interest. The thing is, as a believer I find your geography setting somewhat unreasonable when considering a number of ‘hits’ that Brant Gardner has targeted and gone into great detail in his writings/books. The Book of Mormon located in the real world of the time.
If your geography meshed with the other internal ‘goings on’ of the Book of Mormon I’d be likely to give it a close HARD look as a reasonably informed member of the church.
Your audience of nonmembers and uninformed members are your target audience. I’m just saying that you’ll never get beyond the nonmembers and uninformed members of record on this board. To think otherwise is wishful thinking.
I don’t expect to see your theory published in BYU Studies anytime soon.
