Re: NBC news story on Hunter Biden
One thing that is worth pointing out is Hunter Biden worked as a lobbyist prior to his dad taking office as VP. But he then left and he, Chris Heinz and Devan Archer started Rosemont Seneca. Heinz left about the time the whole Burisma thing went down, apparently not agreeing with the other partners in the direction that took the company.
Markk is handwaving the sequence of events and business focuses to maintain a conspiracy that makes Schwerin and Hunter discussing payment of Joe's property bills seem tied to the unseemly relationship with Burisma Holdings.

I am saying, that Rosemont, Hunter through Eric, were paying Joe’s Bill’s. You, not I, stated that Eric had some sort of power of attorney over the VP. And then I followed that Eric is a lobbyist. You stated he was an accountant. I then showed you that was not true, at least based on his internet bio on a link I pasted, and that he had a degree in “international affairs” and is not an accountant.honorentheos wrote: ↑Tue Apr 19, 2022 9:49 pmOne thing that is worth pointing out is Hunter Biden worked as a lobbyist prior to his dad taking office as VP. I don’t know why Hunter was having Eric handling his fathers bills. But we can assume by the questions that Eric asked hunter that he was handling his day to day bills, and that Eric had to ask questions to Hunter about some of them.
Given that Hunter complained about this to his daughter adds another twist to this, and his complaint was many year later showing that this very well have gone on for a while.
It should be pointed out that there is or was a concern to Joe about Hunter being a lobbyist, and that James, Joe’s brother also tried to steer him another way. But, as I pointed out…Hunter continually used his Washington connections to move his “career” forward, as lobbyist do. Repeating myself… he used his connections to recruit a Obama hold over, Blue Star, to help MZ, his oligarch boss…in a PR campaign to clear his name, and it went so far as for a BlueStar team to meet with the very PG that replace Shokin, whom Joe has fired.

No I don’t…I am showing a pattern, a clear pattern that leads to a very dirty Hunter. You even conceded that. Joe was a VP in 2010…and Eric and Hunter were paying his bills in 2010. Where was the money coming from????? You claimed that Eric was an accountant…which as far as I know is just not true…he is a lobbyist by trade then and I believe even today. You said he has power of attorney…okay, maybe he did? Rosemont is a “GLOBAL” investment company. They create schemes in which investors invest money for a high yield return, and again they are a global firm. They do not just pay bills for people, and certainly not the president of the company.honorentheos wrote: ↑Tue Apr 19, 2022 8:50 pmAgain, you seem to believe the payments in 2010 were being made with money from 2015. You believe in magic, apparently.Markk wrote: ↑Tue Apr 19, 2022 8:30 pm
He is a lobbyist by trade…he is not an accountant as you wrote. They supplied asset managment and overseas investments, and offered lobbying…which Hunter did recruiting Blue Star. Asset managment companies do not pay bills for people. Especially by the president of the company.
Hunter, Archer and Heinz, along with Eric have a long history of lobbying, and they use their connections to get folks to invest their money in the company schemes. Again they do not pay peoples bills.

Eric worked as a lobbyist for several companies…in that is what he is “by trade,” a lobbyist. He is not an accountant.Marcus wrote: ↑Tue Apr 19, 2022 7:55 pmIs it possible Markk is confusing the lobbying firm Seneca Global Advisors (which it looks like Schwerin worked for until 2009) with the investment services company Rosemont Seneca?honorentheos wrote: ↑Tue Apr 19, 2022 7:32 pmThat's not a link to Rosemont Seneca.

In 2010 he was working for a financial company that provided asset management services.

CFR…are you saying “global investment firms” typical have power of attorney to the VPOTUS? Please explain how this is a typical SOP?Honor wrote …In 2010, Rosemont Seneca is exactly the kind of firm that would have handled the sort of asset management being discussed when one isn't trying to shoehorn in a conspiracy about Joe Biden and Ukraine.

Re: NBC news story on Hunter Biden
There are required caveats here regarding what we can derive from the sources and what we cannot.
Joe Biden declared holdings in trusts that match the funds mentioned by Eric Schwerin in the emails to Hunter Biden in 2010.
So it isn't the case the Hunter was paying Joe's bills. Joe was paying Joe's bills as far as the source of the funds for. Hunter and Eric were managing the payment of those bills.
It appears he had authority to write and deposit checks on Joe's behalf in 2010. So some form of limited power of attorney is a mechanism for that which would be easy to set up and define. You, not I, stated that Eric had some sort of power of attorney over the VP.
Rosemont Seneca, in 2010, was a financial and asset management company. And then I followed that Eric is a lobbyist.
In 2010, he was working for a financial and asset management company. That he had done lobbying work or may do so today is irrelevant to the discussion at hand. You stated he was an accountant.
The open secrets link confims what has been said before, that Hunter Biden left the lobbying firm at the link in 2009 when he, Archer, and Heinz started Rosemont Seneca. And Schwerin left soon after. Saying Schwerin was a lobbyist is not commenting on anything meaningful to the content of the emails about payments from funds listed by Joe Biden on his financial disclosure statement in 2010 when the emails were claimed to be written.I then showed you that was not true, at least based on his internet bio on a link I pasted, and that he had a degree in “international affairs” and is not an accountant.
Clearly.I don’t know why Hunter was having Eric handling his fathers bills.
You can't assume that. The bills mentioned largely consist of property-related repairs or maintenance and a phone bill. But we can assume by the questions that Eric asked hunter that he was handling his day to day bills, and that Eric had to ask questions to Hunter about some of them.
Hunter didn't complain about "this". Read the text. He's having a fight over money with his college-aged daughter where he complains of having to pay for her, her mother, and siblings. He makes a snarky comment about hoping she can support a family freeloading off her someday and then tosses in the line about not making her give him a half her money like "Pop". It's a text fight. There are emails where Joe is telling Hunter he will pay for dental bills and other expenses for the kids of Hunter needs help. Hunter seems to be a shady guy for sure. But there are zero credible reasons to believe Hunter was using his own funds to pay for Joe Biden's expenses. That's a fabrication and reading into the evidence.Given that Hunter complained about this to his daughter adds another twist to this, and his complaint was many year later showing that this very well have gone on for a while.
It should be pointed out you are mixing issues and information to manufacture implied corruption on the part of Joe Biden. Magic money from 2015 playing Joe's bills back in 2010...magic.It should be pointed out that there is or was a concern to Joe about Hunter being a lobbyist, and that James, Joe’s brother also tried to steer him another way.

It appears like you don't know what the terms actually mean you are using or why someone assuming high public office would hire a financial asset management firm to manage assets.Markk wrote: ↑Wed Apr 20, 2022 12:21 amCFR…are you saying “global investment firms” typical have power of attorney to the VPOTUS? Thanks Kevin. Thank you. Markk has had 13 years to get familiar with the Desertec project that failed twice (most likely during the Trump years) because of Republicans, sand storms, financing, transportation costs and other inefficiencies. You are absolutely correct. It is still alive and could be viable in 1950 if Republicans would just allow it. If 1% of the Sahara is covered in solar stuff that would only be about 36,000 square miles which is not even a quarter the size of Texas. And this could power the planet.K Graham wrote: ↑Mon Apr 18, 2022 2:22 pm
Solar Collectors Covering 0.3 Percent of the Sahara Could Power All of Europe
When you first asked me to back up my claim about the potential of African solar to power Europe, it wasn't because you knew about these projects and were hoping to catch me in a technicality. No, you were completely ignorant about these projects and aspirations. Now you're just being obtuse and intentionally avoiding the point which is that we have the means to produce enough energy to supply our entire country and even the entire world. It's there, just waiting for us to capture it the same way all that oil was sitting under our feet for thousands of years waiting for us to figure out a way to capture it and convert it to energy.
I asked my left-wing gay Mexican Swedish brother, Jesus Lagerquist, about this project, and he agreed that it sounds pretty cool but he wasn't sure what country owns the Sahara right now. He is not fully up to speed on Desertec.

Re: NBC news story on Hunter Biden
LOL…okay explain why a VP would use a Global investment firm to invest and manage their monies, and if that would be a conflict of interest as a VP?honorentheos wrote: ↑Wed Apr 20, 2022 12:27 amIt appears like you don't know what the terms actually mean you are using or why someone assuming high public office would hire a financial asset management firm to manage assets.
Also, the more I read, the more I see it has Hunter, being the owner of Rosemont, having the president of Rosemont Eric, personally handling certain things for Joe…like processing collage recommendations letters by Joes, written for Hunter’s Chinese connections…
I’ll let you google that,if you don’t want to, I’ll link it for you.

Why would a person hire their family members newly formed firm to manage their assets? I don't know. Is it a conflict of interest? No. Not inherently.Markk wrote: ↑Wed Apr 20, 2022 1:05 amLOL…okay explain why a VP would use a Global investment firm to invest and manage their monies, and if that would be a conflict of interest as a VP?honorentheos wrote: ↑Wed Apr 20, 2022 12:27 am
