I don't think it particularly helps either that they quickly requested that the (expired) passports be returned, indicating that at least someone Trump-side knew what was in the drawer.

Nitpick: one passport was not expired. Trump was given a receipt for what was seized, and the passports may have been specifically identified.

Might have jumbled the mention of two official passports as the total number of passports, and done some brain magic with the expired official one, and the expired personal one. Who knows.

You're supposed to provide a reference to the "anonymous source" from CNN which said Trump was "selling nuclear secrets." You made the claim, so now back it up.

As it is, the DOJ's response last night was epic. The photo of the documents laid out all over the floor with clear as day markings as high clearance stuff makes it virtually impossible for Team Trump to argue they didn't know what they had. The world deserves an explanation as to why Trump even had these in the first place. But Binger is not interested in transparency when it comes to the guy he voted for.
