If I haven’t already (long thread), I’m happy to go with the dictionary definition which you can easily reference online:
The doctrine emphasizing a person's capacity for self-realization through reason; rejects religion and the supernatural.
An outlook or philosophy that advocates human rather than religious values.

And again, let me be clear…as I have been throughout the thread…I’m not disparaging and/or denigrating individuals (as persons) when I am referring to the dangers of secular humanism and the trajectory that some see GenZ moving. It’s the philosophical views of ‘man without God’ that I find dangerous. This view of the world can result in moral and ethical relativism. I haven’t seen anyone dispute that up to this point.
If you dig deep into some of the links, without cherry picking as honor has done, you will see that there is general consensus that we are approaching a ‘tipping point’ in which secular thought theorists are fighting…and even demanding…to rule the day. Along with their media, government, and university sycophants.
Thus, the concerns that many have in regards to civil society.
I would expect to get a LOT of push back on this forum. Once one leaves Mormonism the tendency is a movement towards secular humanism.
