Okay so I have got me an anecdotal account from someone who provided psychiatric nursing care to a patient with DID. The one and only diagnosed patient with DID they ever saw in their nursing career. This person said they would be talking to the patient when in an instant, the patient paused and immediately switched to one of their alters. They said it happened in an instant, snapping their finger to emphasized how fast it happened. Also agreed that if Liemurderer had DID a family member or coworker would have definitely noticed it over the years because there is no mistaking the switch to an alter and there would have been gaps in memory over time such as not showing up at a certain time or not remembering an event at all because they had been in an altered state.

Just throwing that on the pile here while taking a snack break from the circus that is Liemurderer.

Day 16

The day starts off with the defendant being sick and late for court. Apparently she's been throwing up. (You and the rest of the world watching this trial, lady.) Judge Werner days she can stay and indicate if she needs to leave.

Same forensic psychologist from yesterday testifying. More lengthy videos of Liemurderer's sanity interview. Because the audio quality is poor and because if I hear her speak so much as one more word, I'm going to give up entirely. I got sick of listening to her and instead went on to hear the questioning of the psychologist. I'm going to do something here that I should rightly be embarrassed to do, but I'm not at all embarrassed because this is a demonstration of how convoluted all of this really is. Here are my notes that I recorded on computer.

Exact copy of notes as taken in real time. You'll notice I begin talking to myself on the screen at some point. That's how bad this is to listen to.

Michael the Archangel handing out business cards. She was trying to explain the evidence found in the discovery instead of giving her account of what happened.. Making her account fit the evidence. Exaggerating symptoms of mental illness. She video recorded about the burns on Gannon's hands. The video stops after I'm worried about my burns as well as tomorrow...video stops. References to step father trying to establish flashbacks of abuse of step father. Called work at 4 am to say step father got killed in an accident (If I recall correctly he died years ago). LS said she knew it happened because it was in the discovery. (!)

My team, my attorneys, we came up with this. Concerning to evaluators --makes wonder what that means...trying to explain evidence. Throughout the interview, concerns about her credibility.

She fell down the stairs, was in the garage with blood matted in her hair, not consistent with photographic evidence by nurse.

Jan 27 2:30 - 3:15 pm. She tells her it happened after midnight. She memorized the body cam evidence. She was trying to convince that police had it wrong in terms of when the event occurred. Consistent with DID? It depends.

She says 28 after midnight. We decided we would all sleep upstairs (the girls). Edgar and Angelica come in a black bmw...edgar goes downstairs with her. She sees someone wearing a cape. (She turns into Maria Sanchez). She talks about going into protection mode...Maria is the protector. She had said she doesn't have access to maria, can't tell what she's thinking, there should be lack of awareness or understanding during that time..DID. You might expect blackouts in insanity. Periods of not remembering if having an acute mental state.

If she met insanity....would expect her to report more loss of memory. Not able to give details. Not if she was dissociating. How could she go from protective mode to killing gannon...she didn't know it was gannon....someone who came into the home...Maria knew who gannon was and was there to protect him. Tall person came into the room...

The red and black blanket found around him in discovering (something about black and red and Native Americans, don't ask me I didn't make this up, she did)...that's what he was wrapped in in the bedroom (fitting evidence). Laina did not remember carrying a body up the stairs. (Kill me right this very moment.) Went to the mailbox, rode her bike and didn't come into the house. LS tried to bring Gannon back to life. More weight applies to tampering with a deceased human body. Something about resurrection. Drive around in the car trying to bring him back to life with Laina.

Laina said nothing about this.

LS said she got hit in the leg with a bullet. Nothing in the reports about that. Harley and Laina's faces are white like they'd just seen a ghost. Would you expect H to recall...yes...L? Possibly.


LS said someone helped her move the body to 105. Said a family member helped her move the body (her brother?). She took Gannon cross country because wanted him to have a proper burial on his grandfather's farm in SC. Gannon was dumped in Florida.

Edgar shot and LS returned fire? Laina helped take Gannon upstairs.

When she's in Maria mode, she has extreme powers.

I want you all to know that the notes don't look like that because I was back and forth from the computer. They look like that because it's mind numbing to keep up with.

Okay so during her sanity interview which took place in March 2022, Liemurderer says various things as you can see above . I'm astounded that she dragged Gannon's younger sister Laina into her account saying that Liemurderer shot at the tall person in the red and black cape which somehow turned out to be Gannon and that Laina helped her carry Gannon's body upstairs.

Did she NOT KNOW that LE questioned Laina in 2020 when all of this happened?!?!?!?!? How in the hell did she think that would fly? How stupid is she?

As you can see from the above (if you can even read it) she also introduced "Edgar" as someone who got into the house and I dunno, caused something. Anyway, more psychologist commentary about how Liemurderer's interview demonstrated that she was working her account to fit the evidence that was found in discovery that she had access to.

Moving on here...on cross, one of the defense attorneys did a good job of poking holes in the psychologists determination that Liemurderer did not have DID. He (the serious one on the right, not the clown who sits on the left) brought up studies that sufficed to poke some holes in her determination. I will give him credit for this.

As for the clown, during cross he can be seen yucking it up with the defendant at the defense table--no joke.

I don't plan on writing any more commentary about today beyond the above. I need the upcoming two day weekend to detox before Monday when the prosecution is expected to rest and the defense begins to present.

Trial related point I keep meaning to bring up. Insanity defenses can vary significantly from state to state. I read an article by a criminal defense attorney that the insanity defense isn’t really a defense in Colorado. Once the defendant pleads not guilty by reason of insanity, the prosecution has the burden to prove that the defendant was sane when she committed the crime. Not only that, the burden of proof is beyond a reasonable doubt.

Dr. T does not have to prove she was insane. She doesn’t need to put on any evidence at all. All she has to do is convince the jury that there is reasonable doubt as to her sanity at the time she killed G.

That makes the defense strategy much more understandable. “If even the experts can’t agree, there is reasonable doubt.” Expect that in closing arguments.
