That makes no sense. One LDS apologist has been mostly non-anonymous, therefore all LDS apologists are not hypocrites for being anonymous.

This is a huge problem. When a political party neighborhood rep in my small town passed away, I was asked to fill in for his last few months, until the next election cycle. All I had to do, they said, was attend a couple of meetings to vote as his proxy. At the first meeting I was handed a clipboard with a bunch of petitions and asked to sign. I said okay, give me a minute to read through them. The person said, "oh no, you don't have to do that--they are all OUR petitions. Just sign and pass the clipboard along so we can quickly get our signatures."

Sorry, no. As PG put it so well, that's also a fallacious argument.

Are we sure that the ‘primary apologist’ actually has been awarded that status? How was it determined? Is it because he’s often a focus of discussion here?

If I search for, say, YouTube videos by Brian Hales or Dan Peterson, I find many more from the former. Should that be the criteria for determining how we rank the ‘primary apologist’?

Anyhow, I’m still curious as to where you think you’re going with this, and (as Shades asked) if your actual name is Flemming. ; )

Poster Bought Yahoo made that point many times over. Pahoran would agree. They are not stalwarts like Moksha J. Penguin or Kish K. Umen.

I already did. Dan has posted under his real name for 20 years. His archived emails at places like FAIR and SHIELDS are under his real name. What is so hard to understand about this?

(Yes, apparently there were short time periods where he used Freethinker or Logic Chopper, but everyone knew it was him).

You really did miss the point. Dan posts under his real name but he complains when people use his personal information to treat him badly. Then he uses other people's personal information to treat them badly. This is hypocrical.

Then Dan protects the identity of lunatics like Mike Parker who posted under the pseudonym Peter Pan while calling his own critics cowards if they stay anonymous. This is also hypocritcal.
