You're wrong. It was absolutely worth it.
It's always hilarious to watch you scramble and make excuses for your prevarications.
Ha! You're too modest. You definitely consider yourself to be an intellectual. You usually think of yourself as the smartest guy in the room.

I’m built that way as I’m sure many other church members are.
I agree MG is built that way, it's however, very rare. It literally may be one in a million active and faithful members who could spend the amount of time he does on a board like this. MG is gullible, and will believe what he's been raised to believe, life has been pretty good, he's upbeat, and there isn't any chance of doubt.I, personally, have never felt that I needed to restrict my thoughts in regards to investigating and thinking about the ‘world out there’.

I suppose that says more about you than it does about me.
I’m not sure what your point was here.Morley wrote: ↑Sun Sep 29, 2024 3:27 pmHa! You're too modest. You definitely consider yourself to be an intellectual. You usually think of yourself as the smartest guy in the room.

I find it interesting how far off the mark some of you are. But it does help your narrative to paint members of the church and/or individual members with brush strokes of a certain color or texture in order to prove a point or add a certain tint to the larger/bigger picture.Gadianton wrote: ↑Sun Sep 29, 2024 3:51 pmMG is gullible, and will believe what he's been raised to believe, life has been pretty good, he's upbeat, and there isn't any chance of doubt.I, personally, have never felt that I needed to restrict my thoughts in regards to investigating and thinking about the ‘world out there’.

It is indeed. Pages and pages would be missing if when caught he just admitted 'yes I made that up', but the tangled web he invariably weaves instead is indeed hilarious.
It says quite a bit about people who can’t keep their own stories straight. I’d love to read what you think it says about me.
You don’t have to read too far between the lines in my recent posts to find out.
How original!

Human beings are much more complex than you make them out to be.
You have a certain portrait that you’re in the business of painting.
A discerning viewer can see what is being done and not be influenced by these sorts of machinations.
I am also constantly intrigued at the lengths…or lack thereof…that some of you will go to as you play ‘armchair psychoanalyst’ and paint me with word “gullible” or some other word that portrays just another point of weakness and/or less than quality in comparison to those that have ‘seen the light’.
