You doubt that ceeboo had a two-hour lunch date (including the "Joe" mug, NPR tote bag, and organic asparagus references) with a guy who wants me dead?
Why wouldn’t he, if you’re going to pay for his lunch?

Just don’t let him drive you home along that one bridge route.

And - What exactly is "a crappy thing way" ...?
 It's a new term invented to make it easier to discuss the crappy things a poster can do and the crappy ways in which they can do it. It streamlines conversations with certain posters who have trouble with logic, vocabulary, consistency, and their uncontrollable use of words like "m*r*n." It's now trademarked. 8-)

He wanted me to guarantee him that his hope about Trump voters jumping off a F-ing bridge would be applauded and celebrated. I told him that, while I would imagine he would get some support by some of the board members, I could not guarantee that he would get such support from all board members.
Of course not. Potential MAGA bridge jumpers won’t be cheered merely for doing so. They have to earn that praise. America is a meritocracy and MAGA needs to make an effort, too.

Accordingly, all MAGA bridge divers will be judged by a panel of seven judges who rate dives on a scale from 1-10 in half-point increments. Here's a look at the scoring scale:

- Excellent: 10
- Very Good: 8.5-9.5
- Good: 7-8
- Satisfactory: 5-6.5
- Deficient: 2.5-4.5
- Unsatisfactory: 0.5-2
- Completely failed: 0

When scoring an individual dive, judges will consider the starting position/approach, takeoff, flight and entry into the water. Make it look good, MAGA.

Once all seven scores are submitted, the two highest and two lowest ones are dropped. The three remaining scores are added together and then multiplied by the dive's degree of difficulty, resulting in the final score. The degree of difficulty assigned to a particular dive can range from 1.2 to 4.1 in one-tenth increments.

Synchronized MAGA jumpers (like husband and wife teams), will be rated by a panel of 11 judges. But they all don't have the same role.

Three judges focus on scoring one diver and three judges are assigned to the other diver. The remaining five judges rate the team's synchronization. Judges scoring synchronization consider starting position/approach, takeoff, coordinated timing of movements during flight, similarity of angles of entry, comparative distance from the board at entry and coordinated time of entry.

Only five of the 11 scores are used: each diver's median score and the three middle synchronization scores. The five scores are added together, multiplied by 0.6 (to better align with individual scores) and finally multiplied by the degree of difficulty to arrive at the final score.

Please pass these important rules along to your friend. Thanks.

Well, the best venue for Eugenians for this would be the I-5 bridge over the Willamatte, since very few contestants would survive to get a score. Pretty blue around here. Another venue would be the Crooked river gorge in central OR. I think that one is about 1000 ft. to the rocks below. It could be like a Taliban stadium execution, only with volunteers.

Ceeboo, you should have given me a call while you were in town. I would have been happy to provide an ear for a gloat session. You certainly earned one. I don't think trying it on here though is going to provide you any satisfaction.

I am confident that I would have enjoyed our time together, dantana. While we might disagree about politics, I have always found your posts to be generously seasoned with gentleness, civility, and tolerance (Three seasoning I value and enjoy quite a bit)

As far as gloating goes, such a thing is very foreign to me in real life - But this board............
You certainly earned one. I don't think trying it on here though is going to provide you any satisfaction.
Understood. I don't do it for the satisfaction. I do it for a few reasons - among them being that I am willing to stand up against the mob of ideological bullies on this board. I have never been fond of bullies, and I believe that bullying can be very contagious and destructive when ignored - ignoring such a thing provides the perfect conditions for the opportunity where others can become infected as well, creating more bullies. More bullies are a bad thing for humanity, a bad thing for America, and it significantly reduces the value of a discussion board.

You may run into some headwinds from any folks who see making untruthful claims about the numbers of illegal immigrants, blaming DEI and Democrats for assassination attempts and posting anti-science propaganda about climate issues as its own form of ideological bullying. It’s weird how that works, sometimes. ; )

Ceeboo, have you thought of advertising on the LDS Freedom Forum, the BYU DezNat Society, or that Klan newsletter that Ajax used to post at?

No idea what's going on here.

It doesn't sound like your friend is interested in coming here ceeboo and if he wants to kill you then he probably isn't your friend. Not really understanding the importance of the tote bag and cup.

And are you talking about literal people jumping off bridges or is this a metaphorical term?

In order to increase the 'discussions' that take place here, I thought it would be worthy to make an effort to recruit new board members.

I found a guy who I think would fit in really well here (assuming he is not already here and has been posting among us), Person X is an employee at the University of Oregon, and he provided a social media video that does a pretty good job of highlighting the tolerance and diversity championed by his political party.

He expresses his views here:

He looks like the mirror image of so many right-wing pundits. "Stop whining and get a real job!"

LOL. Seriously, what an insensitive and horrible way to act.

Not only that, he was placed on leave by his liberal university for supposedly reflecting everyone's views there; rather than being made at least a congressman for them. Remember, Ceeboo knows about every leftwing nobody who makes the news for saying something insensitive but had only heard of Rush Limbaugh and had no knowledge of Alex Jones or any reason to engage in the discussion about Jones' relentless attacks on the Sandy Hook shooting victims' families. Do you think he is aware of the new Trump victory "Your body my choice" campaign within the farther right elements of Ceeboo's party by Nick Fuentes who is thoroughly inducted into MAGA, speaking at numerous Republican events and spending time with Trump himself at his home?

It was a big thing after World War 2 for folks to say they had no idea what was going on in their party, and claiming no knowledge of certain events, and having to be shown mass graves before they believed any of it really happened and then they were outraged. Well, over the years, a little bit of investigative reporting here and there began showing that the claim they didn't know about it was a lie all along.

The main problem I had with the Oregon guy was that if you're going to call people stupid for voting for anything, your reasoning needs to be on target for that issue, at the very least. The problem isn't that voters need to get better jobs, but they need to learn the first thing about inflation. I saw about 50 "Trump Low prices; Harris high prices" campaign signs, how do these folks think Trump will lower grocery prices? So far we haven't seen any suggestions on this board for how that would happen. If somebody voted for Trump because they read that sign, well, an argument can be made that they fit the accusation. But, I personally wouldn't go that far, because people make voting choices based on misleading campaign messaging all of time, and both sides do try to take more credit than they deserve for economic issues. So even that wouldn't be specifically "stupid" enough for me to warrant the accusation. However, adding up all the policies with no argument behind them, and then factoring in all the fraud -- the unprecedented attempts to gain or maintain power by cheating -- if the sign ends up being a lie, you've also got yourself the problem of the guy already hard at work to ever avoid accountability for failure.

Yeah, the main problem I had with the Oregon guy was that he wanted over 76,000,000 Americans to be dead.
