Another bit of attention to detail might have involved recalling that Zosimus joined this board several years ago, and was heavily involved in a huge Book of Mormon geography thread.Dr. Shades wrote: ↑Tue Feb 18, 2025 8:01 amOh, so "Zosimus" is a person.
In this case, adding an apostrophe + s at the end of the word "Zosimus" would've made the name possessive and therefore less confusing, Moksha.
Also, Moksha, Universal Rule #6 of this message board reads, "'Cross-posting' from other message boards is allowed. Feel free. If you do this--or if you just mention content hosted at another site--always provide a link to that content so people can find out just what it is you're talking about."
Therefore, the helpful link that dantana posted, specifically https://www.mormondialogue.org/topic/76 ... geography/, should've been posted by you in your opening post.
A little bit of attention to detail helps those of us who don't visit other message boards, Moksha.

Yep, Zosimus contributed quite a bit to the Celestial thread Book of Mormon Geography which has received a lot of attention lately in which the view counter is now 502,914. I've done a pretty good job showing how Delmarva matches up with what's described in the Book of Mormon which makes it easy to imagine gold plates being hauled up and buried on the hill Cumorah.
Marcus, congratulations for jumping in on the winner's circle early on with regards to Delmarva being Smith's best kept secret wherein he mapped out his story using it as a template. You deserves a prize!

A prize from you would be an honor indeed! The best has been watching you, in real time, develop your theories, especially what I like to call the island of best-fit geography and the hacked off nose job.Shulem wrote: ↑Tue Feb 18, 2025 5:36 pm

Marcus,
Your participation has been greatly appreciated.
Now, I realize the Delmarva theory is a work in progress and is yet to be realized for what it is -- Smith's true geography. But, acceptance within and among ex-Mormon circles is pending because it takes time for these things to sink in and penetrate minds that are victims of former deceit and thus they remain somewhat protective/defensive because they don't want to fall prey again. I understand that!
But Anubis's nose in Facsimile No. 3 is a slam dunk recognized by any and all parties of interest.
I am very thankful to have discovered it. And it happened here on this board, live.

Moksha,
You are a main player in egging me on with the Delmarva theory insomuch that your questions helped bring answers.
Of course, you already know that.
