The Priesthood does play an integral part in the plan of Salvation and Exaltation. No one is arguing that from a faithful perspective. But the critics start at the very foundation and gut the whole idea of "Priesthood of God". From there I guess you can go anywhere you want.

If one doesn't believe in God or God's power, then that person isn't going to believe that 'god' is the arbitrator of who has the priesthood and when.
You tried to downplay the idea of a heavenly mother with a body having children with "Dad" in the eternities. THAT is pure Mormon DOCTRINE. It astounds me you try to skip and dodge the most fundamental aspects of Mormonism and downplay early Mormon leaders who taught what is still believed today as being real in order to try and appear "normal" or something or other to everyone here on the board. That is what I was calling you out on MG. You don't get to say I am no dope, and then turn around and side step obvious Mormon doctrine, talking evil against the early Mormon Lord's anointed then turn back around and imagine it is all true, and you know it is. But that is okay because they are put on a pedestal that allows no movement unless a priesthood holder sanctions it.
