Ted Bundy laid eyes on other women, but didn't attack them. Therefore, according to you, Bundy/Rosenbaum didn't attack anyone.doubtingthomas wrote: Rosenbaum confronted other armed men, but didn't attack them.
Except for when he directly threatened to kill him. I'm sure that convinced Rittenhouse that Rosenbaum was a peaceful man with no ill intent. It is doubtful that Rosenbaum wanted kill Rittenhouse.
So, what do you make of the video wherein Rosenbaum outran Rittenhouse and caught up to him, even though Rittenhouse had a head start? I'm guessing the video evidence proving that Rittenhouse was slower somehow proves Rittenhouse was faster?doubtingthomas wrote: ↑Tue Nov 23, 2021 1:33 amBut either way, Rittenhouse didn't have to kill him. Rittenhouse could have ran away from Rosenbaum, I am sure Rittenhouse was much faster even with his rifle.
I'm trying really hard to make heads or tails of your thought process here.

Thanks for adding this additional perspective. I hadn't thought of it in that light but it makes sense.Father Francis wrote: ↑Mon Nov 22, 2021 4:17 pmHe also misidentified himself as an EMT. That may not mean much to the general public, but it means a lot to me. Most people don't realize the difference between an EMT, an AEMT and a paramedic. Paramedics are actually pretty much on the same level in licensure and education as an RN, and AEMT's are pretty much on the same level as an LPN. My knowledge as an RN is nearly identical to the medics I work with, but their experience in emergencies outweighs mine. When we have a code blue the paramedic takes over and I follow whatever the medic tells me to do. I had a code called on an 18 moth old baby a couple weeks ago and it shook me up pretty bad.honorentheos wrote: ↑Mon Nov 22, 2021 3:50 pmAre you saying that you feel Kyle wasn't a vigilante while carrying a firearm as a member of a posse larping as law enforcement? Or, more likely, you want me to slip into discussing the shooting. The shooting has no bearing on Kyle being a vigilante that night.
Guns aren't part of a first aid kit. Medics and firemen don't carry them. People going in with the intention to help don't bring firearms.
My point is that pretending to be an EMT (see the above, I doubt he even knows what that means) is like pretending to be a veteran.

Wth? Is this some perverted continuation of your ill-fated women in miniskirts (really, really BAD) idea?Dr. Shades wrote: ↑Tue Nov 23, 2021 5:51 amTed Bundy laid eyes on other women, but didn't attack them. There is a moment when a thought teeters on the brink of the event horizon compelling it's argument to fall into one of two false binary positions, collapsing from it's higher complex state. This one went over that event horizon with the sentence that begins, "Despite that,..."Kukulkan wrote: ↑Mon Nov 22, 2021 3:58 pmI could be wrong but I don't think people are advocating for armed citizens to regularly patrol streets and such. This was an incredibly unique situation. The closest thing I can think of that is remotely similar was the Roof Koreans during the LA Riots. I don't think that defending ones property is 'nuts'. Should Kyle have been there? No. Should the rioters have been there? No. I think we all agree it was dumb as “F” for anyone to be there that night. Despite that, I can understand the need for business owners to align themselves with right-leaning militias considering according to their own testimony, police weren't doing anything about the rioters burning down their livelihoods.honorentheos wrote: ↑Mon Nov 22, 2021 3:53 pmAll you idiots taking sides in this break down of society are damned nuts.

Not at all. Re-read doubtingthomas’s words I quoted, then ask yourself what relevance they have to the person Rosenbaum actually DID attack.

Lol! I predicted that, too. I think that the odds are definitely with us on this one. : D
