An important note: Trump still insists on the erroneous claim that other countries are dumping patients from their mental health asylums into our country. He doesn't seem to know or be willing to admit that there is a difference between people legitimately seeking political asylum from unjust persecution and corruption in their countries of origin and insane patients from mental health institutions. He doesn't seem able to ever admit that he could ever have been mistaken about anything or not know something. I have seen instances when he denied he said something that was clearly and obviously wrong even right after being shown to his face videos unequivocally documenting that he said it!
No precept or claim is more suspect or more likely to be false than one that can only be supported by invoking the claim of Divine authority for it--no matter who or what claims such authority.

Well, at least we agree that "Trump’s a POS" and a liar. :) But I don't agree that the border was ever not closed during Obama's and Biden's administrations.
The border was WFO under Biden. You failed to identify a lie.
No, it wasn't! Period! Unless you mean the inescapable fact that no matter what we do, there will always be ways that sufficiently clever intruders can figure out ways and places that they can manage to sneak across the border undetected.

Changes nothing. The reason it was WFO doesn't change the fact that it was WFO.

That’s a lot of words. Can you accurately quote my words that I was wrong about?

Hound is just another example of the insanity. Look at the effort he had to go to to try and twist a single sentence by a comedian in a stand up monologue into the worst thing ever uttered on the face of the planet. And he still couldn't twist that sentence into a lie. That's utter bad faith. And in this dangerous situation, it's throwing gasoline on the fire.

That was easy.

Not an example of insanity
His effort was minimal
Kimmel offered more than a single sentence
No claims made that this was the worst thing ever uttered since Michael added light here.

On the lie thing, of course. Lawyers’ don’t lie. “My client pleads not guilty” is factually true and not a lie, even if the client factually raped and killed a hybrid cucumber bear at the zoo.

No, I don't. I think it would be reasonable to describe your post as "desperately" trying to distract from the fact that Jimmy didn't lie.

Meghan Kelly lied about what Jimmy actually said. Why hasn't she been fired?

You just lied. Jimmy's single sentence said absolutely nothing about the shooter's ideology. The subject of the sentence was not the shooter. Why shouldn't the government deprive you of your livelihood?

You are deliberately reading paranoid fantasies into a single sentence in a comedian's monologue. That's 100% bad faith.
Uh oh, it seems someone's becoming frustrated, you shifted from "Jimmy didn't lie" to "why shouldn't the government ruin your life."

I suppose you're upset because I had the audacity to critique a hack comedian's choice of words. However, keep in mind that you were the one who initiated the discussion about the actual words Kimmel used, not me. Now that I'm demonstrating your error, you're bypassing the discussion and heading directly to a grim forecast type of argument.

Let's spit facts, I'm not the one attempting to inject political smears into a monologue about a traged, Kimmel did that. Your reasoning is misguided and appears to be entirely biased. To assert that Kimmel's statement wasn't related to the shooter is akin to claiming that a firefighter's hose isn't about water, but merely a flexible tube, it's absurd! If you choose to support Kimmel due to your shared progressive views, that's your prerogative, but be prepared for criticism regarding his use of the term "desperate" to characterize a political group during a time of tragedy.

Please shar your thoughts with me, Captain Progressive! Among the three major broadcast networks that require an FCC license, NBC, CBS, and ABC, which one does not feature a late-night talk show host who leans significantly to the left?

I think i am beginning to gain a clearer understanding of your true identity, Captain Progressive. Your identity hinges on the belief that progressivism is the sole true religion on earth, much like your identity as a Mormon depended on the conviction that Mormonism was the only true religion on earth. You've chosen your group, and now you're standing up for its representatives. You will stand by Kimmel unwaveringly, much like a devoted Mormon stands by Joseph Smith.

I understand your frustration with Kimmel, as you witness your vision of a progressive utopia begin to falter, leading to concerns that your ideological beliefs may not withstand the challenges ahead. I’m not sure of your age, but if you’re old enough to have children, it’s likely that you’ve raised them to embrace progressive ideals within the framework you’ve instilled in them. Is there someone in your close family who doesn't identify as a progressive? I bet not!
That’s a helluva Gish gallop to try and run away from the fact that Kimmel didn’t lie. Troll away, Hound. Vomit out your hatred and your bile. Bully boy, blustering trolls don’t even raise my blood pressure a couple of points. I know an insincere performance when I see one. I hope you can find some peace in your life.

Life’s too short to waste time with toxic people, so on ignore you go.

Changes nothing. The reason it was WFO doesn't change the fact that it was WFO.
No! There was never any time during the Obama and Biden administrations that no illegal intruders or contraband were being interdicted or arrested at our borders. Of course, however, no matter what we do or try, there will always be ways that sufficiently clever intruders can figure out ways and places that they can manage to sneak across the border undetected.

So yeah, WFO means it’s there, and operating at max openness. WFO. Like full throttle. Couldn't push more through it if you tried. It was WFO. Never too late to come to terms with that.

Based on the MAGAtes that post here, MAGA does seem very rice-paper-thin-skinned.

But you know, when you're retarded by malevolence, it's got to be hard to manage the defective brain you were cursed with.
And that right there, this comment by Schmo, that is the actual thumb on the scale.

Anyone who thinks Trump and the alphabets had more sway in this than the folks saying crap like what Schmo just said ain't paying attention and ain't in reality.
That’s the Hound/Mike approach.

“They made be mean and forced me to call them names! And I want an apology for anything I’m offended by!”

If that’s where MAGA goes, why should people avoid calling that behavior out as they see it?
